That might explain why they have the Inf tech when human controlled nations don't... Any ideas where this one is located?

when i said ai and tech tree i forgot to put ai, tech tree but in the ai file it tells the ai wot to research wot tech are already researched and wot units to make sorry for the dissapointment

If it tells the ai that these Inf are already researched, would they be able to build them then? Because as far as i know they already have built some by the time that they do finish the research.

Also i forgot to say so in my last post, but if you want to help feel free to do so.
I guess some help with what the AI researches would be nice, but there are lots of other things to do too, I'll have a look on what needs to be done, once i get home from school that is. :)

i think he means what they will reseach
a seperate ai tech tree is farfeched

Yes, you're probably right, but the ai might think that it have researched things it haven't and builds them anyway. ;)

Is it possible to make an random event to change the ideology of an ai player?

I'm thinking something like

Dove and hawk lobby
action _a dove lobby +1
action _b dove lobby +2
action _c dove lobby -1
action _d dove lobby -2
with an ai chance of 25% each


and similar events for the other sliders as well,this would make the game much more random as one nation might go for democracy in one game but stalinist in another.

Also how often would these events fire if they're random? it would be nice if they were quite frequent, as the scenario usually don't last as long as the vanilla HoI2.

So anyone who know how to make these ones? :rolleyes:

I changed both in my province.csv, but i put the wrong one in the 0.4... :(
And later i removed the new one by misstake, but I'll try to fix that.

edit: Fixed SCA resources and IC now, but i can't see anything wrong with Naples... Are there more people having this problem (Naples don't have as much IC)?

just a quick addition:

plz give the nations more than one province with victory points. i do not like it when i see that a former strong neighbour who guarded my back is getting overrun, just because their capital city was nxt to the border of the enemy - if it has been changed already, never mind.

It has been changed, each nation have 2 victory pont provinces at the start of the game. :)

very good! i was using version 0.2 before. eager to use 0.4 tonite!!

btw, what limitation is there regarding the number of nations? i'd like to see even more nations, with let's say 3-4 provinces only, in 0.2 it was just to easy to conquer your neighbourning country a create a country of the size of today's germany!

and what some other guy said... would be great if you would use the whole of the mediterranean sea sites as well (northafrica, palestine, israel and such, all the places where the provinces are small enough!)

if you already are intending to do so, plz pull it through! it would all make the mod even better.

I'm working on it, adding new countries around the mediterranean sea.
though i will probably not add all of them in the same "patch" but rather a couple at a time.
Though the limit of countries i believe is not the nomber of tags in this scenario but more like, "how many can the computer take"? The tags can go up to about 185 coutries i think but the game might not like that....

I've noticed that my game seem to slow down quite much after a while and even crash if i play many years withouth restarting the game... so having autosave on monthly is a good choice. I believe these problems are due to all the countries, even though they're smaller than the avarage vanilla hoi 2 country they do a lot more, i think all the wars are the primary reason for the slowness. And when me and cold evil tried a multiplayer game with the 0.4 my armies all of a sudden didn't want to go anywhere (when all the wars started) and in a short time later the game crashed.
Still I do plan to add some more at least.

However a lan game still seem to work fine as me and 2 friends played through a whole game with no pouse or problems with the 0.3 version of the scenario. :D

I wont be changing the size of the countries, especially not to a smaller size, since that would mean i would 1: have to remake all resources 2: make the map much smaller (since i don't think i kan have that many more countries than i would have if they were 8 provinces). If i knew what i know now when i started i would probably go with about 10 - 12 provinces each country.
