The Burgundian Treaty

We Fredericus tertius Sacratissime ac potentissime princeps, dei gratia Romanorum imperator semper augustus, archidux Austriae, rex Germaniae, rex Italiea, rex Ungariae, rex Bohemiae, rex Poloniae, marchio Moraviae, comes Habspurgiae et Tyrolis etc., domine, domine nobis semper clementissime

confirm that by Imperial law the Imperial provinces aquired by the King of England shall henceforthe become an Imperial fief under the administration of the King of England.

-The duchy of Brabant shall be added to thes possessions wich shall in the future be refered to as the united provinces of the Netherlands.
-The King of England shall become an Imperial prince and shall adopt the title "Governor General of the Netherlands". Furthermore The Duchy of Luxembourg will be ceeded to the Emperor.
-The King of England as an Imperial prince and Governor General of the Netherlands is obliged to adhere to Imperial law, to protect both the Empire and it's member states and to pay homage to the Emperor.
-The Kingdom of England itself shall be exempt from any Imperial rulings and shall be able to pursue an independent foreign policy as long as it does not come in conflict with Imperial law.

In game effects:
-Austria will accept English claims to the Netherlands and is obliged to respect them (Austria is not allowed to demand these provinces)
-England and Austria agree to an NAP (untill 1520)
-England is obliged to protect the Empire and the Emperor in case of foreign agression (no obligation to support offensive wars waged by the Emperor), It's NAP with France will be respected and in case of a war between France and the Emperor England is not required to support the Emperor.
-If England shall attack the Emperor or any memberstate of the Empire (vassalls of the Emperor, provinces within the HRE) the All rights to the Netherlands will revert to the Emperor.

Further artifcles and in-game effects are to be discussed between Austria and England.
 
Henry VII, king of England, is willing to ratify this treaty. Long live the liberated and united provinces of the Netherlands! Long live the Empire, and long live peace!
 
I can't go Friday. But I'm not hostile to a postpone of Thursday (to next Thursday). If you decide on Friday, England will have to be ghosted.

Very good session. Lots of fun and the hosting was great. Not a single lag loan from Spain. Elidio I hope you show up to more sessions it was nice having you around. Now where are those stats Mat. I want to see just how strong the OE got.
 
Stats

OE is speeding ahead in most fields, but England aren't that far behind. If that 10% from the lag-bankruptcy had not happened.... Then I would be on par, I'm pretty sure.

But now the reformation will take care of much happenings, and I'm glad I've worked up some cash and a somewhat stable line of possessions. Let the religious wars begin!
 
Interesting stats. I think the next few sessions should get interesting. Western Europe might get ugly while the OE just sits in there corner of the world quite free from conflict.

If cores on Hungary come running about, I doubt that they will sit around...
