So, as NVN 2 fan main question -
what about sword coast stuff in the mod?
Every province along the Sword Coast is playable (unless held by wild monsters) and we have included characters and locations from the computer games wherever appropriate. What particularly are you looking for?

I'll admit, all these monster held territories make me wish I could form an Adventurer Kingdom or something but I don't think that's a government type.

Currently you get yearly xp (more if you have the proper ambition), plus extra xp whenever you take part in a duel or battle (more if you win). We'll increase the values if it seems like most players are having trouble with levels.

I'd slightly tweak the numbers and probably tie the speed of growth based upon traits.
Something like if you have quick or genius you would lvl up faster in all the classes but even faster if you specialize in wizard, monk, warlock or sorcerer. If you have fair you would lvl up faster in shadow, rogue and bard. If you have strong you would lvl up faster in paladin, fighter and barbarian. On the other hand bad congenital traits would slow you down.
Traits like diligent and ambitious would make you lvl up faster, while slothful and content would slow you down. The other traits would be dependant on the class and if the character worships good or evil deities. For example cruel would be beneficial to an evil worshipping charavter, but would slow down a good worshipping character.

So in NWN 2 (and addons) we got
-King of Shadows rising.
-Neverwinter war against crime and orks in old owl well
-dwarfs reclaiming their lands and reics
-Crossroad Keep revival
-Shadow plane/main plane constant relation in Rahemen
-Sick labyrinth with its Coven
-curse of spirit eater
-Samarach - Yuan-ti conflict involving Zehir.

In elder kings you can become a diety, destroy nirn, be herald of extradimensional invasion so why not some crazy stuff for this mod?
Curse of spirit eater requires you to constantly consume prisoners (say souls of living will do...and flesh as a bonus), Zehir and his Herald as China and its Protecorate may be.

Not sure if this counts as feedback or observation but...
Most of the old/ancient characters seem to have the lunatic trait, often cruel too. For example all the 7 sisters are lunatics, some of them cruel.

As morbidly funny as this is I'm guessing CK2 automatically starts adding negative traits like cruel, lunatic, stressed and depressed onto older characters? I just sorted all characters by age and so many of them have a combination of 2+ of these traits.

A lot of that would be covered by the kind of events we're envisaging adding for version 0.4.0. Things that we do have already are that the Orcish Eyegouger tribe holds Old Owl Well, and some of the details of Samarach are (I think) drawn from this game, along with some of the cultural localisations around Neverwinter.

You're probably right. Canonically, The Simbul is supposed to be intermittently insane, but not the others (at least, not after Khelben freed Laeral from the Crown of Horns, a detail which we haven't included yet).

We should probably make sure they have enough hard-coded traits that they don't get random ones added anyway.

Will marriage restrictions be in? I remember some mods handling it so certain races cant intermarry.

I'm asking because maybe I've been playing the game too long, its the year 1460. And upon further inspection into the sisters Alustriel is married to an Ogre. Though I'm not super familiar on inter-species romance in Forgotten Realms I'll admit.

We've got a lot of possible inter-species reproduction options. Humans and ogres should get on just fine. At the moment, unviable children are stillborn. This system has worked reasonably well so far, but there are three things I think we could do which will make it work better:

1) Have unviable pregnancies fail rather than produce stillborn children.
2) Have this event trigger automatic divorces for AI characters.
3) Possibly increase the positive opinion of each species for itself, to make interspecies relationships slightly less likely without ruling them out.

We are not planning to have any blanket barriers to intermarriage.

Makes sense, would be good to see monarchs not marrying races from which they can't have children.

Perhaps having some traits related to acceptance of these races? Like an emperor probably shouldn't marry an Orc for example (this happened my game. All his children are rather dim orcs*). So perhaps a trait to reflect the general persons disdain towards races such as orc, ogre etc? And of course a trait to reflect the acceptance of them. I believe (could be wrong) Witcher Kings did something similar.

*There's an orc kingdom (Kingdom of Thesk) going about. Naturally the emperor of the sword coast married one of the orc kings daughters, amusingly enough the leader of Thay did the same. CK2 really breaks down into insanity the longer it goes on. I love it.

(Hopefully the feedback is helpful.)

What about shadow plane/main plane interactions?
This is something that is likely to feature in a few events in version 0.4.0 (for instance, the return of the Shadovar if you start on a date before they appear on the map, possibly some events to spawn Shadar-Kai characters) to go along with events like the return of the eladrin from the Feywild/Faerie/Sildëyuir.

General interactions with other planes - on the model of the off-map Daedra in Elder Kings - is something we're considering for the longer term, but haven't decided on definitely.

advance the clock in the character picker while keeping an eye on the Mere of Dead Men.

We agree with you but modding is a lot of work and this is our first beta release.

Hi! Love this kind of mods, it looks really awesome! I was wondering if this Mod (beta) will be put up on the steam crusader kings 2 workshop? I always liked that if you had mods there they could get updated there by their moder and you wouldn't need to update the mod manually.

and any chances for ressurection spell?
Not in any foreseeable build, I don't think. Once a CK2 character dies, they're dead, and cloning them to produce the resurrected version works fine in the history files, where we can just declare that it's so, but isn't practical in gameplay as far as I know.
