Hello!
Came upon this mod by accident and I'm glad I did! Clearly it has a lot of potential and provides a substantial amount of gameplay in its current state.
Unfortunately, I noticed couple of problem with various gfx files. For example the Fragile trait lacks an icon (had to use the one used for Weak as replacement) and the Ogre-Magi culture lacks children portraits (noticed when the Bhaalspawn ogre had a kid)

We will be releasing a patch that fixes these issues very soon

Hey Guys,

Loving the mod so far. Great work. A few little things I found:

The problem others mentioned with humans producing half-breeds with numerous racial traits (it is weird, sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes the bug appears, different in every gameplay).

It is really difficult to conquer as evil creatures. Like orcs, imo, should have pretty good war claims (like tribal pagans in vanilla can invade their neighbors anytime they want), but now orcs have to fabricate claims (which is just not for them).

Also, is adventuring already in the game? and if yes, how can I attempt it?

Thanks for the answers! Keep up the good work.

Uhm. Masel tov....?

I know that marriage logic is hardcoded and this can't be prevented. I just found it funny.

The only bug I have found so far is when a education choice gives you the option for "Sympathy for human religions" the name of the trait is not correct and displays the internal name string of that trait. Sadly no screenshot for that.

Edit: Its not only during education (me being dragonic)

Religious conversion can be demanded when playing an evil Commonwealth or Magocracy. Is this intended?

As for the celestial bureaucracy government type, is there a way for Adama characters to adopt it or is it unique to Maharajah Ambuchar of the Tan Empire?

He is shy and arbitrary. Funnily enough with traits like that I can see it happen

There is one downside though.
As couples like this can't have living children the special races will breed themselves out of existence over time as the AI doesn't know which pairings are viable or otherwise takes race into account. Same for races that produce half-variants.

For example I am 1408 and there are only 2 beholders out there which are married to other beholders. The rest is married to humans or unmarried.

This was a problem with Mythos2, too. Mythical races breeded themselves out of existence with humans. Maybe by creating racial religions and locking the gamerule that doesn't allow foreign religions to intermarry could solve the issue.

We will add the ability for more cultures to use more aggressive CBs
Adventuring is not in the game yet unfortunately

That file for the racial birth rule is really impressive. It must have taken ages to write that.

Is it intended that in dragonborn-petrafolk pairings the chance for dragonborn is different depending on who is the father? Not that it matters much in the current build.
It also seems that the half traits (half-fiend/dragon) is not inherited, even when both parents have it? I can kinda understand the logic, at least when only one parent is a half-X although its sad for my plans of setting up a half dragon dynasty.

Which trait do the children of two half dragons get?

Checking your mod a bit and while I haven't explored a lot so far but one thing seemed odd to me : Dambrath is supposed to be a Half-drow matriarchy but at this point women are not able to hold a chair on the council. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to have start with full tolerance of women ?

Fantastic mod. Massive kudos to all those who put the effort into this, I'm staggered by how much detail has been included. This has the potential to go far - didn't realise how perfectly Faerun leant itself to CKII and I was pretty skeptical at first when downloading it - keep polishing it guys because you've put together something really special here.

In it's current state, it's already a sight to behold(er), but with a bit of extra TLC this matches and has the potential to surpass some of the most highly regarded CKII total conversion mods out.

The marriage thing is a bit weird at the moment - Human kings marrying minotaurs? I can understand the slimmed down start dates at the moment. But for a first release I can't get over how stable and content rich it is. I have full confidence in what your team do with this in the future and look forward to it. Having an utter blast.

Thank you! We're busily polishing right now, to try and fix the most significant of the bugs that have been reported, so we can do a first bugfix release. But beyond that, we have plans for how to develop the mod further, to achieve the aims I described in my opening post.

We're shuffling up the religions and creature traits a bit to try and control this a bit better. But it's always been a design objective of ours to allow a wide range of intermarriage, rather than the strictly delineated model that some other fantasy mods try for. Unusual couplings are definitely a canon thing, though: Dmetrio Extaminos' relationship with Glisena Foesmasher, for example, or Elminster's with Ammaratha Cyndusk.
