I'm certainly enjoying this game and most of the other players seem to be too. What makes you think there's a lack of interest?

When I wrote that, there were just 4 ICs out of 17 factions...and having a game low on the OT thread does not help keeping it alive. If I learnt something from playing these games, is that sometimes is funnier reading ICs and answering to them than actually sending orders. And mind that it is not needed just to write a nobel-winning IC, just interacting with the other players as you -or anyone- think that your faction would do.

I´m glad you are enjoying this and appreciate other player´s concerns too, but my point is that games carried over only by the GM without the constant flavour of ICs tend to die slowly.

New Mexican Republic

After a series of discussion between myself and President Aaron Kimball, new amendments to the Oak Creek Accord have been submitted and approved between both the New Mexican Republic and the New California Republic. These new amendments are laid out within the original Oak Creek Accord as the Technology clause and 2.e of the Military clause, presented as follows:

The Oak Creek Accord

The following accord represents the confirmed friendship of the New California Republic (NCR) and the New Mexican Republic (NMR). It also establishes agreement to territorial sovereignty and military co-operation.

This document and its established points of treaty below constitute the entirety of the accord and upon ratification by signature below will remain in perpetuity until the end of time minus a day or upon withdrawal by the signed parties in open declaration.

Sovereignty

1.a - The New California Republic recognises the sovereign state of The New Mexican Republic to extend over all lands from its current southern boundary to the land south of Mexico City, with wasteland north not presently claimed by any opposing factions open for discussion.

1.b The New Mexican Republic recognises the sovereign state of the New California Republic at present borders, [REDACTION].

Military

2.a Military access will be granted by both nations to allow (with formal consent prior) movement of armies & divisions across territory's designated as either under occupation, invasion or an objective of war.
2.b Supply lines for both nations can be utilised by all armies of the alliance when in opposing territories.
2.c The agreement to military intervention is to be utilised on a "call to arms" basis. If either nation does not wish for units to enter their territories to assist then they are simply to not request such action by the alliance member.
2.d The failure to accept a "call to arms" can result in the nullification of this treaty by either nation at a moments notice.
2.e During times of peace, advisers from the New California Republic and the New Mexican Republic shall be sent to each other to allow the training and fielding of Yoa Guai Cavalry Divisions and Elite Ranger Divisions in the NCR and NMR respectively.

Diplomacy

3.a The NCR and NMR will establish embassies in each others capital towns.

Technology

4.a Both the New California Republic and New Mexican Republic will share all technological advancements between each other from this moment forth.
4.b Technologies shared between these two nations may not be shared with any third party without express permission of the other party.

[X] Presidente Juan Bolivar of the New Mexican Republic
[X] President Aaron Kimball of the New California Republic

These amendments are presented to the NCR for confirmation.

The New California Republic finds all terms listed to be amended onto the Oak Creek Accord to be agreeable. By sharing our technological advances between each other, we shall further the cause of all free men and throw back the legions of Caesar to the gates of hell.

[X] President Aaron Kimball of the New California Republic

The players listed below still need to send their orders: PMs have also been sent, and as before, if you cannot send them before the deadline (saturday 1st june, 10:01 AM), please send only 3 as an automatic penalty is applied.

A little word of warning, though: there is a new player on this list; if he fails to send his orders in time or the delay is too much for my understanding, I will consider a replacement with any of the players in the queue.

4- Raiders (haresus)

I'm sorry to have taken your time to say this, but I will be resigning as the Brotherhood of Steel. I'm just not feeling it any more and things are just going over my head. Thanks for the great amount of wonderful work that you have put in to this Nacho.

He was sitting in a dark room on an old office chair. He could hear the wind from outside. How the wind carried fine sand through the cracks of the rusted steel door. Nothing else was heard just the peaceful rustle of a white rabbit in a cage and the clatter of a keyboard.

Typhon Trotzis leathery face was shining in faint light. He was sitting at a console of an old PoseidoNet computer terminal and he was trying to remember how he used something like this in his youth. For now, he was satisfied with pressing the keys and trying out various number combinations.
Suddenly his with concentration half opened eyes focused on the words of the screen: "Active PoseidoNet Station" and the word "Enclave". He pressed the confirm button and waited. Abruptly everything was quiet, even the rabbit in his cage. All of a sudden a picture popped up and he saw...

"ENCLAVE here. Why is not your video feed working?"

For a short time Typhon was a little confused, but the confusion was nothing new in his live, so he decided for a short answer:
“Whazzuuuuuuup?!”

TURN 8 MINI UPDATE: MEXICO AND THE WASTELANDS RALLY

FOXY REPUBLIC

fallout_3_by_here_is_marylou.jpg

Although they are very different personalities, each one with his own goals, it seems like finally El Zorro and Presidente bolívar have been able to reach an agreement. Instead of focusing in what kind of Government is to be enacted within Mexican territory, a mixture of both visions of the world (a democratic and centralized one against a tribal-anarchic organization) is to be created in order to appease followers of each leader.

The first decision taken by Bolívar is to grant El Zorro and all of his followers a general pardon, without distinction upon the crimes commited against the NMR. However, the peasants following El Zorro would starve without any proper plan to reintegrate them into the Republic, and that is why the drug commerce is going to be allowed in all Mexican territory...and even El Zorro will take a place in the new Government, as head of the Ministery of Narcotics and drugs. In exchange, he will try to convince his former followers to join the republic and form a new Militia to fight the Raiders if they don´t retreat, or even Caesar´s troops if the war keeps going on.

Even if some peasants are not happy with these events, it seems like the crisis is reaching its end...but for how long? (El Zorro crisis temporarely solved, more on the general update).

THE MEGATON-NEW VEGAS RALLY

mad-max-buggy-1_VR9lb_5965.jpg

After months of races, cheats, gas consumption, more cheats, threats, repairs and even more cheats, it seems as the Raiders have managed to place one of their kind as the winner of the 1st Wastelands Motorized Rally! Few seem surprised by the fact that Laszlo Radford has arrived to the goal with an entirely new desert buggy, but as the Raiders keep repeating to anyone who wants to hear it, no rule specified that a racer could not change his car anywhere around the Wastelands, and the Raiders bodyguards make sure that no protest goes too far away.

Anyways, and even if some feel fooled by such a tactic, it is true that lots of Wastelanders have had a great time watching the vehicles pass by, or even just waiting to have some new, and this has increased the prestige of the Raiders all over America. Although not much people would like to live a Raiders life, they are now contemplated not as criminals, but rather as some sons of liberty who deny to live under the steriotyped rules of modern society.

Wherever they go, Raiders will now find anyone willing to help them, and it seems as if all the Wastelands were their home. (Raiders faction won´t disappear even if their territory is totally annexed, as they can find shelter all over America).

THE GLORIOUS HUN NATION OF THE GREAT KHANS

Greetings "Kingdom" of Gammorin, the fearsome Hun Nation has taken note of your attempts to motorise.
As a Khan, I respect two things, strength, speed and intelligence - hahaha I make the best jokes, anyway....
Perhaps you should come to us with such a request?
Not only are we the fastest, meanest warriors of the waste but by the rubber of our tires, we are a nation that lives on wheel, track and saddle.
Maybe in return for any willing volunteers to join our mighty clans, we could help you in joining the free men, the wanderers of the lonesome road, those who go out and take what they want rather than expecting to be given a handout.
The Great Khan World-Smiter has long admired the combat power of your transhuman nation and there is much we can learn from each other.
Imagine the caps we could make, the women we could take; should we share our strength.
Thus says, Khan Ulf the Crowfeeder, Mouth of the Huns and Khan of the Gold 45 clans.

"Those Brotherhood Paladins sure do make a nice popping sound when you bump them at 50 miles an hour." - Rex the Runt-Runneroverer, Hunnic Outrider.

((Those words are creepy in their incomprehensibility. Did someone roll badly and got wiped out? Probably Legion, they had it coming.))

OOC: It's got to be either the raiders (who are the only faction that can actually "disappear" for a time) or the Ghoul Nation. Or maybe even Mr. House. So long as it isn't Mexico, NCR, or the BoS, I'm happy

As long as it is not the mighty Great Khans, the World-Smiter cares little for the trifles of the wasteland.

((My feelings are distorted, while it is good there will be more blood for the blood god, but we will have someone else to leave. Wait, did my reform fail and a civil war swiped through our lands? I knew we couldn't trust Eastern spies!
If not that, it seems one of wars will finally change from WW1 trench wars to some decisive actions, that's nice. And of course there will be betrayal, no story is good without betrayal.))

((Wait, you are happy with fascist ways of BoS? Even my deranged priests can't take them.))
