That confirms that I'm running the correct version - mine is also MEQ0. So, as I said, I get a CTD when Germany DoWs the Benelux countries. I'll run another handsoff this evening and see if I get the same problem.

Other than that, the speed improvement is HUGE! It took only 1,5 hours on full speed to get from Jan '36 to May '40.

The changelog looks nice. Does the AI build nuclear reactors/research A-bombs?

just made a run for this game to day from 1936 t 1947. normal difficulty No real problem this time but a few event that came to early I will post them later.
I had problem with the sliders they tend to jump back when I try adjust them. I have to pause and click me away and back from the production window to make adjust work.

I was glad to see that in May '40, Germany had only taken southern Norway, Italy wasn't yet in the axis and Japan hadn't conquered China yet. The SCW wasn't even over yet! Things are looking way better than in the previous version!

I've a CTD starting the 44' scenario with Switzerland. Always, not random.
Somebody can confirm?

Works fine for me.

Do you have enough convoys?

I build few convoys so maybe it just that I dont have enoch of them. So I need more convoys for trading with Germany than some other nation then. yes it is written required convoys 11 that's it. thanks

1 hour later, already 1942. Interesting things in Europe, Germany didn't crush the USSR within a year as usual. Nat. Spain joined the Axis and are now being invaded by the UK and USA. Japan hasn't conquered China yet. Germany attacked Scandinavia in late '40, after France fell. Allies invaded Norway in early '42.

I must say, it's a good job the devs have done. I haven't encountered any problems. After this handsoff game has finished, I'll play a proper game as Germany to check the combat side of the new patch. AI seems to be good.
 
Handsoff is at 1945:
1) Germany invaded UK in 1940, but USA freed it around 1942.
2) Stalemate in China - Japan was not able to defeat the unified front.
3) Italy has conquered all but west africa and annexed both Southafrica ans Belium.
4) Stalemate in russia, Germany was not able to invade further than 4 provinces inside.
5) Strange piece of french land in northern africa - seems that it was not given to Vichy when the event fired.
 
I'm... staggered. I left the game running for an additional 5 hours, but for an unknown reason, it only proceeded a year forward. Maybe the game crashed, I'll check.

Anyway, it's 1945, and the results are shocking.

In early 1944, the U.S had landed in Italy and Spain. Japan was not at war with the Allies. In mid-44 Japan DoWd USA, and in December '44, Allied landed in the former Dutch regions. I don't know when they invaded Japan. The situation now...

I am extremely happy of the outcome. Finally the Allies are making some effort in fighting against the Axis, and it looks like the USSR held long enough for the Allies to take Berlin.

Devs, you've done a great job! The speed gets rather slow around '44, it goes about 2 ingame hours every second. But that's probably due to the high amount of troops.

the military collage renamed as M.J. Costello if I am not mistaken.
the correct name for the naval TT researcher is H.T. Green

By the way have anyone started a new game and right-one liberated a country witch have reloaded as. I always get game crash then.

I can't confirm that. I released all British colonies (which resulted in 100% unrest in Britain and them being owned by rebel doomstacks) and played a few month as Rhodesia and Nyasaland.
 
Wouldn't it be a good idea (in case of country crash at beginning of a scenario) to attempt to replicate it several times as singular crashes can be caused by some truly random reasons?

That's rather odd, since I forgot to set the end date as well when I started my current game. When I changed the date and loaded my save it was immediately changed to 1964. Maybe it's a bug and it resets sometimes, I don't know.
