seems there is a employee bug maybe? can't get it to go over 1/1, or is that intended?
Low demand for fish or not enough employees or you drew the fish area where theres not a lot of fish. Fish require deep deep water :)

@ Daniel, you mention yesterday that fish require deep deep water, yet you mention in info panel it can be done in rivers. Rivers are more shallow. It works in rivers and does take time to spawn fish.

I would have to assume there are no boats that spawn? Is this coorect?

Also you mention in ifo panel (Fish Resource Refresher (Code Mod) Is there an additional mod to be used?

Great work by the way. You do a great job in creating mods.

Hey Rickie,

Yup it can be in rivers! pull up the games default resource view and youll see the different shades of blue in the water. The darker the more fish!

And yep no boats... even if it was possible your choice is a massive cargo ship or a floating bus on water (gotta wait for the main game update)

Code mode is already included in the pack, no additional mod required :)

Thank you!!

I seem to be having problems locating the Fishing Industry. I saw it load in the mods list, but I don't have any fishing anything in either the regular industry tab or the specialized industry tab. What am I missing?

If there is no fish in your industry tab the mod isnt installed properly. The fishing assets are technically not a code mod but an asset so they should load no matter what. id recommending deleting the mod and reinstalling

Hello and thank you for this outstanding mod. As I am using this mod I notice a few details; the mod works similar to specialized industry (i.e. forestry, grain...). However such industries such as oil, vegetable, and now fish are not properly displaying/reporting under the resources tab or showing the efficiency and extraction details. Would this be a game or mod issue?

I wonder why would Paradox release this tease of a resource without any way of interfacing with it.

Thank you! no i dont think it relates to this mod. This mod specifically only touches fishing related things :)

I am using the Seahorse map that Biffa used in Cities 1 for his New Tealand build. The author made the map for Cities 2 and I am on the outside lower corner where the sea comes in. It is very deep. And the need for fish is high. Still only shows 1/1 employee. I have an island of industry and most of the industries around the fish factories are fish related industies and are producing. my production is 1T a month, my deficit is 92.6T. There is a huge need for it. and my area of farming it is very dark blue. Love the asset, and you work diligently to provide it all for all of us. Just wanted to give you a heads up on an issue that I seen just so you can look into it. Keep up the good work!

Hmm did you draw the area large enough? Any you using any mods that effect workplaces (there are a few out there). These can all have impacts

I was thinking it wasn't interacting with the realistic workplaces and housholds mod properly becasue my fishing areas are huge and I am showing plenty of fish stock in my cargo harbor as well as the cargo train terminal. Havn't seen any industries that utilize the resource so it looks like I am just exporting it. As the creator of this mod, I just wanted to give you some feedback of what I was seeing so you could look into it from a code point of view. The RWH mod is being quircky by itself at the moment. Save game and you have 1300 households in a 6x6 high density residential building and log out. When you log in it goes back to its vanilla household amount but you hit unpause and it jumps to the adjusted value but it only has 120 households filled. So every time I start a game all of my houshold values go back to vanilla and I lose a huge amount of population right off the bat. And then all the traffic goes nuts of people moving back in. All of the other aspects of that mod work fine, the commercial, industrial, services, and offices parts anyway. So it might be not properly interacting with it. It's almost like that bug from the early days where you would place a special industry and only have 1/1 worker in it. I remember a mod that fixed that and then in a game update I believe the developers fixed it.

Hi Daniel, I saw your work on the fish mod and I would like to give you an idea. I see you have mods based on rural things and such. A cool topic would be to cover sugarcane, banana and industrial plantations, sugar mills.
