I think republic flag should be just like base flag but with the correct shades of blue and red or with coat of arms in the middle but without the crown.
Republic, 2 versions:





Monarchy



Communist



And 1 little question: why fascist shield is named as U21fasid8.bmp?

easiest thing to do is just download ViP to an empty desktop folder and cherry-pick the flags you want.

BTW the newest flags here have been included in Hotfix 2.
 
one thing about the nepal commie flag... that was not used until the 1950s by the CPN (Communist Party of Nepal)... so that would not have been around back then.

btw, are those the same flags mumia made for me in the Hoi2 thread months ago?

Yes, that was flag made for you some time ago and for communist Nepal which flag is best to use in Victoria time period? (I need some help with that exotic states).

well... there was NO communism in Nepal until the mid-20th century.... nepal in the 1800s was still a barely unified feudal state.. so they never had any communism.... so I think that that flag is alright, because there never WAS a communist flag for that period.

OK I think it would be best If that flag will be as it is.

And I found few bugs in names of flags/shields in new hotfix (i.e. flag of U28 is named as 'u28epublic.bmp' that should be named 'u28republic.bmp'). I'll finish my exams 19 June and I think then I'll make next part of flags.
