The Kingdom of Belgium
Le Royaume de Belgique
Het Koninkrijk België

Belgium is deeply alarmed by the aggressive actions the French government has recently taken in destabilizing the Spanish state. There is no way to justify giving aid to rebel groups in an attempt to overthrow the government of a neighboring nation that poses no risk to France. We condemn this action in the strongest sense and question the French government's commitment to maintaining peace in Europe as it previously demonstrated during the Brussels Peace Conference. Now the specter of war between France and Germany grows ever stronger and it is the concern of the Belgian government that the situation will escalate should the French and German governments take actions that will further provoke each other. It is our hope that the French and Germans shall cease any further intervention into the affairs of the Spanish nation and allow Spain to deal with its current problems on its own. The Belgian government shall not take any actions against France but will closely monitor our shared border and look upon any future actions of the French government with suspicion until it can restore the trust of our nation.

We hereby present the following treaty to France. If the French Republic refuses to sign this, it's a threat to the world peace, and harsh action will be taken by the German Empire and her allies.

The treaty of Straatsburg

1. The French Republic shall stop any funding of rebels in the Kingdom of Spain, or anywere else in the world.
2. The French Republic shall never aid rebels in the future.
3. The French Republic shall pay 25,000,000,000$ to the Kingdom of Spain as form of reparations.
4. The French Republic shall pay 5,000,000,000$ to the German Empire for the expenses of military aid to the Kingdom of Spain.
5. The French Republic shall pay 5,000,000,000$ to the Kingdom of Portugal for the expenses of military aid to the Kingdom of Spain.

Signed:

Belgium is deeply disturbed by this treaty presented by the German government, as it clear that it is meant to be nothing but an excuse by the German government to go to war against France. It is becoming increasingly clear to the Belgian government that neither side desires peace and thus we urge the nations of Europe to take actions to preserve peace on the continent. The Belgian government suggests that a conference involving all concerned nations of Europe be held in Switzerland to discuss the recent actions taken by the French government. War is not the solution to this situation and must be avoided at all costs. Only through diplomacy can an adequate resolution be reached that will satisfy all sides and not result in the deaths of a countless number of souls.

Tsardom of Romania

The Tsardom of Romania is dismayed at the event of Europe over this past year. Barely has peace been returned to the Balkans than a new war threatens to engulf Europe. We condemn French actions in Spain, not only supporting rebels against a lawful government, but also funding the worst scourge of the modern age, Marxism. And they continue to defend their actions. It is most unbecoming of a civilized nation, and the latest in a series of disappointing actions taken by the various segments of the French government. We applaud German attempts to support Spain in this issue, but feel that the current ultimatum is not the way to bring about peace. Adding more wrongs to the situation will not make things right. Talks should be held to resolve this conflict before it begins. The world has seen enough war within the past few years to last a lifetime.

Official Statement from King Don Carlos I

While the French have been completely and totally shunned by the international community for what they did. Yet, we cannot allow the rash actions of the German Government, as well as this treaty which is clearly providing an excuse for war, to pass. The Portuguese forces deployed in Spain are Peace-Keepers in helping the Spanish Government deal with these murderous rebels. They are nothing more then Peace-Keepers, and they will not fight with Germany and Spain against the French if that is what this continent comes to. Portugal will declare a state of neutrality and pull out of Spain to prevent armed conflict with Spanish or French forces if war is declared between Spain and France. Until then, the Portuguese Army will only be used to restore peace in Spain, and will refuse to help either side in this conflict.

As such, I hereby assign General Manuel Gomes da Costa and General António Óscar de Fragoso Carmona as leaders of the Portuguese Peace-Keeper force. In the event of armed conflict between Spain and France, they are ordered to pull out of Spain and return to Portugal.

I also wholeheartedly support the peace talks held by the Belgians in Switzerland. Peace is better then war, and the Portuguese government will try its hardest to keep Europe out of armed conflict.

-Dom Carlos I, King of Portugal and of the Algraves.

The British government condemns the French for what they have done in Spain, but the actions of the French does not automatically approve of the demands of the Germans. The German Empire are asking for demands that are unreasonable of the French. The German demands of 35 billion to be paid by France is nowhere within the damaged caused by the rebels or within the cost of the rebellion, as such we ask the German Empire to become more reasonable in their demands. We would also like to ask the nations to approach the conference in Switzerland with a more civil tone, as an outbreak of war seems to become the ever more likely by the day, it is time for cool heads to reign over ill tempered ones. We ask all parties to accept the offer to come to Switzerland and solve this issue, Britain desires peace in Europe and we do not approve of any outbreak of war, we would therefore also ask that every nation that comes to Switzerland in the hopes of peace does so with reason in their minds and hearts.

An official statement from the Chancellor of the German Empire

The German government is truly shocked by the recent ultimatum presented to the French government by His Imperial and Royal Majesty Wilhelm II. His Majesty's utter disdain for any kind of diplomatic solution and his belligerent actions have convinced the Reichstag that His Imperial and Royal Majesty Wilhelm II of the House of Hohenzollern, Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia, is unfit to rule. The government hereby demands that His Majesty abdicate in favour of his son, Kronprinz Wilhelm. The German government would like to inform the nations of Europe, particularly France, that it does not support the aggressive and irresponsible actions taken by His Imperial and Royal Majesty, and the government fully supports holding negotiations in Switzerland to resolve this international crisis before it escalates any further.

Tsardom of Romania

I am quite disturbed by the recent proclamation by the German Chancellor. While my cousin might have acted too rashly, and most certainly demanded too much, that does not give justification for such condemnation and demands to have him abdicate. I ure you, and all other heads of Europe, to cool your heads, and let talks occur to return Europe to the Status quo.

A Message from the President of Chile

After years of cold relations with our neighbour Peru, I think that it is time for reconcilliation. This can only be achieved by cooperation, thus I propose the Peruvian-Chilean Cooperation Treaty, to warm our relation and prevent war and strife in this part of the world. I do hope that the President of Peru accepts, for it is cleary in the interests of both our nations that we are at peace and that we cooperate.

Peruvian-Chilean Cooperation Treaty
- The Republic of Chile will give special rights to the Peruvian Citizen living in the Republic of Chile
- The Republic of Peru will give permission to the Chilean Goverment to invest in the Industry of the Republic of Peru
- The Republic of Chile guarantees the independence of the Republic of Peru and will pledge support to the Legitamte Peruvian Goverment when her independence is questioned by outside and inside powers
- The Republic of Peru and the Republic of Chile will have a yearly remembrance day to remember the fallen in the War of the Pacific

The Austrian Foreign Ministry would like to remind our dear German Chancellor that last time we checked, the government was very dearly in support of the German Kaiser. If this attempted coup is not rescinded, I would have to advise Emperor Franz Joseph to take immediate action in Germany and restore the peace from insurgents who are trying to depose their rightful Emperor. We would like to remind this german 'chancellor' that he only has his position because of his overlord, Wilhelm II could depose him as easy as he appointed him. You are not the Iron Chancellor. You shall never be Bismarck. For Europe to be at peace, you should be working on another treaty with Russia, to re-guarantee them of German hospitality, not trying to appoint a puppet king for you to rule for the next ten years.

I need a new French right, once I have that I will post the stats.

I will also note that although the Kaiser controls overall foreign policy, the Diet still votes on the declaration of war (the SPD actually voted for WWI).

If it's still open I'll take the reigns.
