Welcome to World Orders.
In this simple forum game, you can assume leadership of any available country in an imagined world where most nations have consolidated into large federations. You will tactically decide how you earn and spend your country's Administration Points, as well as how you interact with other countries - all by utilising three different actions.
All actions in this game tie into a simplistic resource called Administration Points, partly inspired by EUIV's Monarch Points.
There are three available actions in this game, all of them requiring a fixed amount of Administration Points to carry out. Two of these actions can net you points, while one of these actions only uses points, but has a chance to remove another player's points.
The three actions are:
1) Domestic: Use 2 admin points to make a change within your country (the details of which can be specified by the player) in order to stand a 50% chance to gain 4 points. The success of this action will be determined by me via a 'coin flip'. Since you spend 2 points to carry out this action, the success thereof will then in fact net you 2 points.
2) Diplomatic: Use 5 admin points to interact diplomatically with another country (which is lead by a player) in order to net 5 points. The success of this is entirely determined by the target country. If the target country deems your action successful (accepts it), both you and the target country will net 5 admin points. If the target country rejects your diplomatic action, neither gains any points, however you will still have lost the 5 points you've spent.
3) Military: Spend 5 admin points to remove 5 admin points from the target country's pool. The success of this action will be determined by me via a 'coin flip'. Thus this action has a 50% chance of success, in which case you will remove 5 admin points from the target country, but gain none yourself.
It is up to you, the player, to detail the nature of these actions if you so choose. The amount of points you spend or gain per action, however, remain fixed.
How to play
Each country starts with 2 admin points. The country that accrues 50 Administration Points will win this game. You will have to use the actions stated above to gain points, or to remove them from other players. You may spend Administration Points until your country has a deficit of 10 (-10 admin points) points, whereupon you will no longer control your country or partake in the game.
Once you have stated your action, you must wait until I determine its success. Any additional actions posted before I parse your initial action will be invalid. You can carry out 1 action per post. I will make posts to notify any country of the success or failure of their action. You can carry out actions whenever you wish, as long as I have parsed your previous action.
To carry out an action, put its type (domestic, diplomatic or military) in a bracket first, then illustrate the nature thereof, if you so choose. Diplomatic and military actions must state the target country's name in Bold within the post.
Example 1: "[Domestic] *optional description*"
Example 2: "[Diplomatic] *Send a letter of admiration to Argentina*" OR "[Diplomatic] to Argentina"
Points will only be added or subtracted once the target county has accepted or rejected your offer. This is so that you do not lose points if an inactive player doesn't respond.
Note: Even if your [diplomatic] offer has been accepted or rejected, you must wait until I parse its results before you can continue to issue further orders!
Accepting or rejecting diplomatic offers do not count as orders themselves, so you can reply to these orders even if you still have an action waiting to be parsed.
For players which have selected a country, prefix any out-of-character posts with 'OOC'.

Side note: If you feel that you would like to make World in Revolution-style announcements, make sure that they're in your country's colour and that they resemble 'status updates' instead of being drawn out speeches, so preferably nothing much longer than 5 lines.
