Depth charges are similar to beer cans but bit bigger.. It could be torpedo but it seems to have depth differences so it isn't circular which doesn't really make sense in torpedo's case

Here is what I meant about torpedo pipes (if you manage to find them in the bad pic :D)

Yeah I know the picture sucks because my epic resolution makes all seaweed and other stuff in the water green mess.

Bubbles above a sinking ship?

I'm going to go for depth markings on a Lada class submarines hull (could possibly be another class of Russian sub).

The only nations around the Arctic who operate subs are America, Canada, Britain, Norway, Sweden and Russian and I don't think it's an Astute, Ohio, Sea Wolf, Los Angeles, Ula or any of the rest. Could it perhaps be a Gotland? (based on the shape of the hull)

Not directly.

Imperialman: You actually omitted the one it is. It is not the Gotland. Yes, it is one of these nations.

Don't tell me it's a Sodermanland? :p

The only one I haven't mentioned is the old Upholders of Canada, is it that? :(
