Depth charges are similar to beer cans but bit bigger.. It could be torpedo but it seems to have depth differences so it isn't circular which doesn't really make sense in torpedo's case

We can say it's very close, Wave. But we'd like to know which part of the sub the detail is from, and for bonus, which sub?
I'm going to go for depth markings on a Lada class submarines hull (could possibly be another class of Russian sub).

Impressive, Imperialman. It is indeed the depth markings of a sub. It's the wrong sub, though, even the wrong country.
The only nations around the Arctic who operate subs are America, Canada, Britain, Norway, Sweden and Russian and I don't think it's an Astute, Ohio, Sea Wolf, Los Angeles, Ula or any of the rest. Could it perhaps be a Gotland? (based on the shape of the hull)
