A nice little addition to Empire.

What's your Belligerence right now? It would suck a bit if Britain gets all righteous on you and declares war itself.

Actually it wouldn't suck at all. India is hardly a problem, and the US won't join the allies (I'm guessing) now that there's no Japan, so you don't need to worry about landings. Furthermore, it gives you a legitimate reason to advance to Australia and the British puppets south of Tibet.

The only potential flaw is that the USSR DOWs you, which they probably won't, but remember we played a LAN game as Japan and Manchukuo and made a long horizontal line down all of asia, after which the USSR DOWed us and more or less anihilated any hope of survival? Yeah... :p

When will you be releasing a Korean and Japanese puppet? I can't wait to see their ministers under Chinese rule. :D

Li Jishen was not quite satisfied with the campaign. While it was certainly true that Siam was on its knees, with the majority of strategic locations occupied by the Chinese, a potential opportunity to finish the fighting that month was lost and the campaign would drag out longer.

Li Jishen had known that his army probably didn’t have the strength to advance all the way down from Bangkok to Singora, and thus he recruited Fu Zuoyi’s corps from Zhanjiang to make an amphibious landing there once it was ascertained that the Siamese defenses had been thinned out due to commitments on their northern front—the garrison of Singora dropped from four divisions to one. Fu Zuoyi obligingly threw his corps against the weakly defended beaches and threw the Siamese northward.

A move to quickly capture the southernmost Siamese town and, at the same time, open up a new front to divide Siamese forces.

The Siamese navy, however, made an appearance and ran unhindered amongst the Chinese transports, which were undefended. However, rather than retreat, the Chinese admiral waited until Fu Zuoyi’s troops were ashore before breaking off and sailing into the minor harbor at Singora. By some miracle, no Chinese transports were sunk by the Siamese cruisers and destroyers.

The naval defeat off Singora.

Arriving in Bangkok, Bai Chongxi immediately dashes southwest to attempt to secure Thom Buri before the Siamese could reestablish a defensive line, one that would undoubtedly be strong due to the constricted nature of the peninsula. Unfortunately, he failed. Two Siamese divisions reached Thom Buri from Bangkok before he could and stopped his attack cold. Another attack later, once Li Jishen had also arrived in Bangkok, was similarly halted, by three Siamese divisions.

The two failed attacks on Thom Buri.

Realizing that a successful attack would then require another axis of advance, Li Jishen ordered Li Zongren to attack Nakhon Sawan, supported by himself and BAi Chongxi. This attack, against only one Siamese division, was successful and the Siamese were thrown back northward.

The attack on Nakhon Sawan, a town from which it would be possible to flank the Siamese peninsula defenses.

Once the fate of Nakhon Sawan had been essentially sealed, with the Siamese withdrawing, the Siamese government desperately send a peace offer to Wang JingWei in Guilin. They promised China the peninsula and western half of the country, with access to Chinese Annam. Wang JingWei, of course, refused. China was not interested in half-measures and compromises.

What's your TC situation like atm?

Go Myth! :D
I would like some kind of "diplomatic renegotiation" of China's international status (maybe a return of the european colonial cities) once WW2 is over..
That's if (I said IF) China isn't reasserting to its true status as the Glory of the east ;)

Will you liberate any puppets?

The materiale to wage war will start pouring in (soon)! What are your stats for supplies of oil, metals, etc (esp rares)?

Li Jishen was pleased at last. Siam had finally been brought to its knees and incorporated into the Chinese sphere of influence. Li Jishen shrugged on one ornate robe. A ceremony would be taking place in some few hours, and over the robe would go an expensively embroidered vest. Li Jishen looked at himself in the mirror and shook his head—just a few hours earlier, he had been filthy, sweaty and generally just leaving the jungle.

Vichy was apparently desperate to end the war, for some reason unknown to Li Jishen. He shrugged, and the vest almost slipped off; he moved to remedy this uncalled-for maneuver. However, they were still not ready to give up all of Annam to China, again the logic behind this was impossible to understand. It was, quite naturally, rejected.

Yet another foolish Vichy peace offer.

With Nakhon Sawan conquered, Li Jishen brought over virtually all of Zhang Xueliang’s army, excepting the cavalry corps, as well as Li Zongren’s second corps in southern Annam. Once all these units were assembled, Li Jishen ordered the third attack on Thom Buri to commence. Nine divisions attacked from Nakhon Sawan, under the general command of Zhang Xueliang, and twelve from Bangkok under Li Jishen’s direction. The Siamese could not hold against such an offensive and broke southward along the peninsula.

A massive attack on Thom Buri, ending in Chinese victory.

With the Siamese defeat and the occupation of the last strategic location in the entire country by Chinese troops, Li Jishen opened diplomatic channels to begin negotiations for the Siamese surrender. During the negotiations, he received word that the Xibei School of Artillery and Engineering had completed stockpiling Chinese military hospitals with the basic required commodities and established connections so that they could keep getting them. The National Aviation School had then begun developing a doctrine of air superiority, something that had been greatly lacking during the long war with Japan. Additionally, the Academia Sinica had completed improving its basic encryption devices and began improving its decryption capabilities.

With the advent of a real interceptor force, China needed a real fighter doctrine.

Finally, yesterday, the Siamese caved in and surrendered. The peace terms were generous, they were not going to be annexed as simply another province of China; instead, they would accept the honorable position as a Chinese client state and allow Chinese troops within their borders whenever necessary. They would also provide tribute to Guilin.

The Annamese-Siamese campaign was finally over.

A runner rushed in, surprising Li Jishen. Out of breath, the runner stammered. “Sir! Half an hour!”

He then ran back out, leaving a minor whirlwind behind him to kick up lose scarves and other cloths. Li Jishen stared at the door for a minute before shaking his head and sighing. He turned to look intently at the closet, the hat had eluded him thus far, but Li Jishen was sworn to finding it.

South-East Asia looks much better now.

But this way he gets their full supply of resources, including rares which he needs.

Quote stolen from the man himself.

India? Maybe yes; but what is the strength of the British Army in country?
