Bad luck follows Harrenhal is all I'm saying. A nice little place if you can do it up, otherwise be prepared for nasty things.

There's bad luck and there's evil voodoo that somehow twists and mutates all your children in dribbling mutant pitspawn.

Also, again, Harrenhal is a strategic position that is completely indefensible, but SEEMS formidable

Somebody mentioned restoring Harrenhal and I'm wondering how you're supposed to do it.You can't tell me that I need to get 9000 gold to use the improve castle thingy because then I won't even try.

You can start it by having 900 gold, however it takes a shitton of time and gold to repair it.

Easy way out, if you want to cheat it
event harrenhal.1 (steward id) Follow through to harrenhal.14

Harrenhall is the ultimate White Elephant. The only ones who could possibly afford to keep it up and man it would be the Iron Throne, and its location isn't great for a capitol. Ironborn reinforcements have to sail clear around the country to reach it by sea or else portage through the territory of the vassals he enslaved and bankrupted in the construction of it. Harren was a dumbass, and was overcompensating so much his penis was probably literally concave.

This isn't a question of etiquette, this is a question of common sense. Nobody wants to scroll past your wall of code text, and if you had exercised even a second of forethought, you would've realized that before you posted.

No, it is a question of etiquette, not common sense. I don't mind for one what I did, it's no great crime, but that said I will try to do better in future because people find it helpful Still you're wrong for I know that others will not mind too much in such a way as you do, so it's obviously not "Nobody" and that is more hyperbole. Should I assume always there are features I don't know about? I mean I didn't know spoilers existed even so thinking about it wouldn't have helped since I didn't know it existed. Should I know everything from the beginning? I study history for a living, or work in the woods cutting down trees to pay for school, I use the internet and computers, I mess with crusader kings 2, but I don't code. I do not do coding for a living or using internet forums most of the time, or blogging even. Why should I know this? No, I do my best and that's commons sense and I realized that before I posted. The author of the thread said himself "Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it!" So apparently it was useful, and really if pressing down on your mouse or the mouse wheel was such a chore I don't have sympathy for you. If it takes too much memory I can still delete it and so may others. I know now and in future will not do a wall of text, but because it helps , "and if you had exercised even a second of forethought" you'd know that. I'm done, take it easy.

Sgtsmucker i tried cheating my way like u said but i got blank event when i used harrenhal.1

Okay, I've got the chain figured out

Have your steward placed on the harrenhal province with lower build time

event harrenhal.1 (steward id)

From there do event harrenhal.9

Do harrenhal.9 again (make sure this time you click small debris pile)

Then harrenhal.13 to finish it

If you want to start on the other towers, hit off event harrenhal.14 and repeat the process, excluding harrenhal.1
