Just what I was thinking of the other day, didn't think they would look this great. Those crusader units are just sooo kewl!

I really wanna use those harbour icons from CK as well. :)

Yeah, they look great. All the CK sprites do imo, but especially the crusader sprites put me in awe. :)

I think they need to be resized a bit though, as they are a bit larger than the EU2 sprites... and I didn't get the attack sequence right, but I'll look into that again later...

Well the habour icon should be fairly easy to snatch, but you'll have a problem with the small coqs (sp?) for ship production, me think...

Wow that is one hell of an Idea Hive, hope these will be released soon :D

I'm not sure I'll release them... they are, after all, taken directly out of a copyrighted game...

Are these just the CK sprites put into EU2? or have you "modded" them somehow?

With suitable skills you could make an program that converts/moves CK sprites to EU2. When that happens in the same hd it's sure that there aren't problems with copyrights.

I had to change some filenames... but that's all.

I am, however, having problem with the fire animations... they keep beig screwed up, and I can't figure out why - or how to solve it...

I, for one, don't have those 'suitable skills'. :)

I guess the palette needs to be changed. :)

I'm not 100% sure since I haven't looked into it myself, but I would start there. and then the .spr files. MJK should know, he's the expert. :)

It's not the palettes, just tried using the ordinary EU2 army palette - without any change (other than a new uglyness to the colours).

And I already made the x and y coordinates in the *.spr files like the ordinary EU2 *.spr files, didn't help either...

Hmm, then I don't know... I can look into it when I get home, you can always try to pm MKJ. :)

No need, I found the problem: there are too many frames... standard EU2 fire sequence *.bmp only have 14 frames, but CK have 30... now they also have more in the other *.bmps, like walk - but there's no problems there. Maybe because there's more than twice the original amount in this one...

EDIT: It would probably require a great deal of copy-pasting to get it to work... not sure I'm interested in that.

It isn't impossible even with my skills, I think, if that is only moving files and renaming.

Once you finish these expiriments be free to post me what files should be moved to where and renamed to what :)
