Some week ago Damocles made one of his first appearences in EU MP after his long awaited comeback (hurray!). It then happened that a rather new player in our community, who was going to play in Damo's game, entered the vnet lobby and saw a comment made by "Damocles". The newish player immediately asked:

"Is this the famous Damocles...?" :eek:

"The one in Ryo's guide....?" :eek:

and even though there were two modems and a host between us I could hear him tremble, having become aware that he, a simple "private", would very soon be competing in the same game as the legendary old fox :)

It was Ryo in disguise, mentioning Ryo's guide is a dead give away. His intention was to lull Damo into a fuzzy state during which Damo would grant access, and all his holdings all the way to Siberia would be explored before Damo would be able to react.

And of course, Damo would irrationally lash out, hitting Slargos rather than Ryo since Ryo would choose that time to duck out. :mad:

is it me or Eu2 community is getting small? legends or not legendary ones are needed so far.

Nah, lots of people, who gave colour to the community have left, replaced by a greater number of noobs that have yet to distinquish themselves.

"noob" is such a negative word, for me a noob is someone who doesnt understand the game and play it as they wish. They don't give a damn about how you should really play the game and thus dont bother to learn the basics.

I belive "newcomer" or even "newbie" is more appropriate in this case :)
