im really frustrated now. My OS is relativly new. if i have some time i ll reinstall win and run vicky first. maybe i can then figure out what is wrong.
(i ll really do everything for Vicky )

If you go to windows update and look for upgrades then Directx 9.0b will be an option if you need it. Or download here

You will need administrator rights to install it and to install drivers but not to play (usually). XP Home will default to administrator, XP Pro won't.

yes i know...but there are many applications out there wich need administrator righs to work at their best....but not viki it seems.

Installer program used for the patch will not run as a limited user.

If you run XP, could you try running in another compatibility mode. Rigthclick on the Victoria icon, choose properties and compatibility. Try W98 or W2000.

You should not need any compatiblity mode changes with Victoria.

ok here im back
so i have reinstalled windows...have nearly no programms on my system (of course some drivers...)
I was really surprised when i have installed Vicki!!!
i still have mouse lags...

but i was much more surprised when i installed EUII...
now also this game "lags"...EU NEVER "lags" bevor....

my video card have still the microsoft driver... after i have updated my card i ll let u now.
