This might have nothing to do with the game but I really don't know.
When I play Vic the game runs just fine, for a while then the computer just restarts itself. i'm playing Vip. This didn't happen before. I don't know what I might have done to make the computer so mad at me.

Does this only happen when playing Vicky?

This kind of thing is ususally not associated with a particular program.

Check your power managment settings, THen run a diagnostic on your board, checking for temperature of CPU, fan speeds, power usage.

How do i check my power managment settings?
How do I run a diagnostic?
Should I check the temperature when I play Vic or just now?
Cpu or system?

excuse me for my stupidity but I'm not so good with computers.

It really depends on what kind of Motherboard and BIOS you are using.
You may be able to do it in CMOS but you may need a diagnostic program.
For instance one came on a CD with my Motherboards. (ASUS)

If you do not understand any of this you will propably not be able to undersatnd what the diagnostic tells you either, so better to get someone who knows more about computers to take a look.

But does this only happen with Vic?

okey.. I'll have to do that then.. Well I don't know. I only play Vic. No other game interesses me anymore.
My mainboard is MSI if that helps

Does it happen at about the same time each time it does happen.
Example:
30 min after you turn your computer on,
30 Min after you start the game.
When you take over another nation,
...

No not really.. I'm not sure about the time but sometimes it restarts when i'm trying to build more railroads,Dows but also after i have saved my progress.
I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I'm listening to winamp while playing. This hasn't been a problem before though.

I had that happen too and it was in response to a fatal error in an event. Mine was a forgotten Brace at the bottem of the file

Really, a missing bracket caused your system to completely reboot?

Okey it's getting wierder now. Earlier this day i tried playing Warcraft 3 and I didn't play long until the computer restarted itself. After that I Played Victoria again to see if time has something to do with it. After two hours of playing I had to quite because i'm not the only one using this computer. There is obious something wrong with my computer.

Now that is more or less what I expected.

See my first post in this thread for diagnostic solution.

Okey when I restarted my computer I pressed 'del' that took me to som setting system.. anyway I looked at my Pc health status and there it showed fan speed temperature and other stuff.. Should I post it here or am I out bicycling here?

That may give a clue, leave your system on for a while and watch that, but if your system is not doing anything, it may be a little decieving.
