Assuming you don't use gender equality, requirements are as follows:
- you have true_cognatic succession law
- you are a female
- you have 2000 prestige
- either Ambitious or Diligent trait
- have neither Content nor Slothful trait
- have one of those nicknames: lawgiver, hammer, conqueror, victorious, crusader, holy, avenger, brave, fearless, lucky, affable, liberator, glorious, saint, saoshyant, able, kind, good, strong, magnanimous, merry, noble, gentle, just, fair, wise, pious, apostle, blessed, confessor, monk, ironside, lion, lionheart, bold, magnificent, great

You're the first person I've seen who's preferred PB+VIET's old Africa over vanilla VIET's current Africa. :huh:

(But anyhow now that non-SWMH PB is using the vanilla map, it's only a short while before I'll be able to add in my Africa tweaks to the non-SWMH PB version of VIET)

Wait, has VIET on its own got a different Africa from vanilla?

Yeah, you can see screenshots of it in the first page of the VIET thread (fourth post, I think). Though much of the east africa stuff will soon be made obsolete by PI's additions with RoI. Anyhow, simliarly to what PB had previously, obviously it's not as detailed as SWMH, but it's there to provide something better for those who don't want to or can't play with SWMH. However PB's integration of NAE was getting kind of obsolete (as in NAE was a really old mod, from before even SoI), so I think my Africa changes were overall a bit better in that regard.


Though I will miss PB's Africa stuff. It's what got me into PB in the first place.

Make sure you're using the latest version of HIP. The issue shouldn't exist there.

If you're still experiencing the issue, please copy-paste the contents of the version.txt file here.

I'm pretty excited about the chance to get my hands on VIET's Africa in concert with PB. While my computer can handle SWMH just fine, I primarily play multiplayer and some of the computers just aren't up to the task. It's made me awfully sad to miss out on having a better African map. (Granted, I'm also sad about missing out on better graphics and other map tweaks, but Africa is of particular interest to me.)

Sure. In localisation open PB_various.csv in a spreadsheet or in Notepad++, and edit the line CHARACTER_TOOLTIP_DELAYED and get rid of "\nID: §Y[GetID]§!".

For a non SWMH update, expect everything but VIET Immersion to be ready in a day or two (three at most). For Immersion... well, it'll take as long as it needs to, but one week is my optimistic estimate right now
