Hi guys,

Loving this mod, just a quick question. I can no longer find the wikipedia links on the character pages. Did you remove them, or am I just blind? Thanks!

yes, removed.

Anybody have a link for the old version of HIP? For patch 2.1.4 that is, I'd like to play with VIET Immersion, but I seem to have deleted the archive
me as well

Playing as a Breton character and the Tro Breizh decisions seem to be gone since the new version of 2.1.6
Any explanations? I get random events too with what appears to be coding.

VIET Immersion was responsible for the special Breton decisions and was dropped indefinitely on July 1st along with patch 2.1.5 due to crashing issues and lack of developer support to update it to 2.1.5. If you are playing a save from then, you can expect issues as well, and that is highly unrecommended. Sorry for the inconvenience, but VIET Immersion had been in that unsupported state for some time.

Regarding getting random events that have text which appears to be "coding" or something like that, that is probably an issue with VIET Events which was addressed in today's hotfix. Use the latest download, and you shouldn't see any more of those.

Hi guys,

I have just downloaded your mod and it looks very nice. However I do not see any feature of attracting claimants to your country, so that you get a casus beli on another county...Is this supposed to be a part of the mod? If yes, what are the methods in this mod, in which I can expand my country besides the "fabricate claim" option? Because now it seems that expanding has become even more difficult than was the case in Vanilla CK2.

I'll link you guys the 2.1.4 archive in roughly 8 hours from now when I get back to my pc.
EDIT: Actually I might have lied on this one. I have few old builds and I definitely have 2.1.4 somewhere, but it might be harder to find than I expected.

@HIP Team, what was the date of release of 2.1.4 HIP build?

Is there a way to have two HIP versions at the same time in the mod folder? I think I might just have to rename the mod file and the folder, but I am a scrub in such things, so I'm not sure if I can break something like that. Basically, I want to have up to date HIP and 2.1.4 HIP for Immersion. I want them both in the same folder and to show up on the launcher. I have few CKII folders stuck in different patches, but they all use the same mod folder and I do not know how to change that, so Im trying to work that around.

I am so sad upon discovering that both SMWH and Arko's Interface both seems to cause a lot of issues with Arumba's Keyboard and Shortcut mod.

Here are some of the things I have noticed.

SMWH seems to disable the 'b' button which can normally be used to go back to the previous page.

Arko's new interface with its new province view breaks most of the shortcuts that deal with the old province view. These include raising both troops (z) and ships (v) from a single province. As well as switching between tabs, starting an assault (c) and finally the quickly create New Vassal button(v).

These are the ones I have noticed till date and damn are they very irritating.

Can anyone post a quick hotfix that can resolve these issues?

I actually didn't change any vanilla shortcut, so nothing is can be so called broken, just some inter mod incompatibility.
the only solution is to list arumba's shortcut mod as incompatible with Arkopack interface. I doubt SWMH does anything to this.

The obvious fix for those using the current shortcut mod, don't enable ARKO Interface for the moment.

Why can't I select/de-select the different modules in the launcher?

That would be ideal, if mod combination selection could be as simple as provided by the installer but done at runtime via the launcher. However, Paradox's launcher doesn't begin to allow the flexibility in module compatibility afforded by the installer, and we're not going to try to replace the launcher (as cool as that could be).

If you want to switch between different combinations of HIP mods w/o re-running the installer, the installer lets you choose a custom mod and folder name for any of your installations. The COPY method of install is handy for quickly doing this.

You have to find the claimants, invite them to court, and press their claim-- just like vanilla. Expansion is more challenging than vanilla generally, yes. If you want to conquer a lot of territory quickly, I'd suggest choosing one of the start characters w/ an invasion CB active or, though they're challenging at first, the byzantines. Or play vanilla. We emphasize not being able to complete an implausibly large conquest within a generation.

But I did find the claimant, clicked on him and when I tried to Invite him to my court, there was no button to invite him. So this feature should work the same way as in Vanilla, but the button is missing? There is really something wrong over here mate, maybe a bug?

Yeah I installed HIP afresh with the following modules.

Historical Immersion Project (2014-07-14)
Enabled modules:
ARKO Armoiries (2014-07-14)
Project Balance (v3.5.11 - 2014-07-14)
SWMH - English localisation (v2.854 - 2014-07-14)
NBRT+ (v2.1 - 2014-03-28)
VIET Events (v1.6.2 - 2014-07-12)

And now the back button (b) no longer works when used in conjunction with Arumba's Keyboard and Shortcuts mods.

Removing SMWH and replacing with ARKO Interface, will of course fix the back button, but cause all of the issues I mentioned above.
