I've updated NBRT+ to be compatible with the latest patch, has anyone of the HIP team already done this or should I upload the files?

You should message Meneth or Zijistark..

There shouldn't be such a decision at the moment; I disabled it in PB until we've figured out how the converter handles centralization now.

Interesting, I was able to exporty my game in the newest version.

Okay, please state when the decision is back. :) It's quite weird that half of my empire isn't mine anymore in EU IV xD

does this work with beta patch?

Since HIP is modular and consist of several independent but cooperative dev groups for it's sub mods the individual mods that make it up often have betas out at different times between releases.
If you want to risk running fresh baked modware you can individually download betas.

Now that I got that out to answer your question(WARNING I have nothing to do with development of any of these mods and have gathered what I can from trial and error so things may not work)

Steps to get SOME of the modules working with each other for the latest CK2 patch/beta -

1- Download EMF and Project Balance betas from their respective subforums then download ARKOpack's latest release from it's subforum.

2 - Download the main HIP release file

3 - Extract the HIP release to it's own folder

4 - Navigate to "(HIP folder location)\HIP - CM - 2014-10-15\modules" and delete the folders "ProjectBalance", "PB + SWMH", "EMF", "EMF+SWMH", and "EMF+VEvents"

5 - Extract EMF and Project balance into the "(HIP folder location)\HIP - CM - 2014-10-15\modules" EXLUDING the .mod files located in Project balance

6 - Take the modified HIP folder and install it like you normally would BUT do not select SWMH when prompted by the installer.

7 - Install ARKO like you would a normal mod by just dropping it in your mods alongside the HIP mod you just created.

If I explained this correctly then you should have a working(but probably buggy) HIP install not including SWMH.

Is it intentional that if you're a OPM Norse tribal Count (or whatever title it is) that you regularly just have to eat the -2 Prestige modifier for not warring enough, as you cannot raid until Svitjod gets their act together enough to fire the shipbuilding event?

That's a vanilla thing, isn't it?

I really did like playing with the theme system, it sort of helped to balance byzantium (in like the one playthrough I did with it) which is usually so damn OP. I'm not sure how it would play out in HIP though, seeing as I've never seen byzantium become that crazy in it.
