I was wondering what was the traits of the Sheelikoi. I am curious because I wanna recreate them. I suspect based on the ages of the Shileekoi, they definitely at the least have very strong traits. Anything else?

Keep in mind, you won't be able to re-create them with Asimov patch, their ethos is no longer compatible with Decadent.

Yes, that's too bad, but they might return, in the future.
In the meantime, if you haven't checked it, I've started another Stellaris AAR to compensate.

I know, and I really enjoy that one too. But it's the Sheelikoi who inspired me to do an Slaver-AAR, wich then morphed into the Spore as I now present it. (They were originally supposed to work somewhat like the Zombie-Ant-Fungu, brainslaving the infected hosts.) So they hold a special place close to my heart. :D

I'm flattered it was an inspiration for you to start writing.
Yes, the nice thing about the Sheelikoi is to create and dwelve into their different culture and mindset, although with the asari I can go more in depth with character interactions, whereas the Slithers have detached and twisted minds that work differently and cannot allow for certain scenarios to happen.

Thank you, glad you liked it. You might enjoy the other one I'm making in the meantime while this is on hold due to game bugs.

The fact is, I was already in a few years after the patch, before realizing what was happening, I wouldn't like to rewrite part of the story and re-start from a previous save.

Nice read.
Let's imagine the Sheelikoi conquer the Galaxy. What next? Without the technology to cross intergalactic space, and faced with the prospect of the decay of their hunter-conqueror ethos, I think they would reset their own civilization. They would slaughter almost all slaves and seed some communities around the Galaxy, and they would prepare their next era of big hunts. They could become a Fallen Empire waiting for the perfect time to go back on the prowl. It would be fun to include them in our games in such a fashion.

Thanks.
It would certainly be possible for them to become a fallen empire, and it would be nice to set them up as such, if it wasn't for the fact that their ethos is currently incompatible with their decadent trait.
It indeed depends on whether the Sheelikoi realize the existance of other life outside their Galaxy and the success or failure in reaching for it. The Sheelikean philosophy is such that, when all Galaxy is under their control, not only they'd still be a very small minority of rulers, they'd enforce limitations on their numbers, to keep "balanced" the echosystem.
