Where O where have the two of you gone? I assume it's some place far away. I hope it's some place warm and beautiful. I know that wherever it is, you're together.
But I would like you to return to us. Hive, I've even played two games with your mod-one still ongoing-both from 1337 and I was wrong. It is indeed easy enough to deal with subs and related problems, and it's well worth doing. My England in Chill III annexed France, Northern Italy, the Netherlands, part of the Balkans and ended in Thrace. It had Ganges and Kutch before Columbus. It was the most obscene country ever seen in EU II MP, although of course I never said that while the game was ongoing, and I owe it all to your Hundred Years War start.
Slargos, what can I say? We have started more games together that ended before the third session than the rest of the community combined. I realize you have your work and connection troubles, and you're drunk almost all the time and there are of course always more playgrounds to scope out, even in the endangered Swedish population where the women are too hot for childbirth. But know that we think of you often, and now and then it's without laughter.
There are two new maps. Asia is finally viable in MP. There will be a third map I intend to use as soon as its done that would allow us to finally start the Old World game we'd planned and never got around to, Sluthost. It is a ripe time to return, and I hope we don't have to wait until EU III (May 2006? We're all a'twitter) to play with you guys again.
In hoping to prove FAL wrong, I reread part of an old thread the three of us were involved in. Those were better days, and I think I speak for the whole community when I say it hasn't been the same without our pale faced punching bags from the north and their stormy love affair.
