We're managing along just fine (no real nightmares that paradox MP doesn't face in general). Once in a while one of the players might make difficulties, but Vicky MP can and does provide entertainment currently for over 20 players, and has provided for many others in the past.

You wouldn't be up for a game, would you? I've got spots opening up in my 3PM EST saturday game... :D

Just don't play the United Kingdom or Russia then... and you won't have problems with micromanagement.

I can slide you into a cozy spot as Japan perhaps, or Persia. they are slow nations for building up, so they'd be good introductions to MP methinks. If you want something with a little more action, then the USA is still open in my game (american player quit on the weekend :( )
 
If saturdays don't work for you, you can latch on to a wednesday game at 6:30PM EST, which i believe needs a new player or two. There, you wouldn't have too much to do, other than build on the foundations established by the previous player (game year is already in the 1890s i believe). Could be another good intro to MP, and i believe the 3PM EST wednesday game is also going to be finishing soon, so you might be able to grab a spot there when it restarts. Fridays and Sundays could see new games soon as well, so hey, there are lots of choices!

the game with those open, has already started, but is only into 1850.

Those are probably the most likely choices from whats left (esp. US since its been played and is a great power, and Japan since its also been played, managed some decent prestige from colonies, and is on the way to civilisation and power)

Persia just civilized on its own, but if none of those 3 suits your liking, i suppose that leaves China, Sweden, Mexico, or Brazil.

Hmmmm, wednesday during the day might work, weekends are right out. EST, I will have to look at a timezone converter, I see :D

Based on the one i used, its 12:30AM in brussels right now (fairly close to your brugge location if i have my geography right. its 6:34PM in EST right now, so your about 6 hours ahead. so 3PM EST would be 9PM your time, and 6:30PM EST would be 12:30AM your time

thats how things work. Of course, since both games currently running are restarting, one possibly moving to another day, you'd just have to keep up with the times.

Heh, just thought of something: I actually have a Vicky version which has the 1.04 beta, I bet that won't be very compatible :D

Oh my, Daniel you really do have too much time on your hands. You need to find a gal of likeable disposition as soon as possible.

However, you are correct: "myself" would be the most grammatically correct usage, yet you will find that many native speakers will use the nomitive form "I" and it is so commonplace that it will be scarcely noticed by anyone but neurotic-EU2 loving-single men.

Grammatically it is "Slargos and I" not "Me and Slargos" or "Slargos and Me"

And ask Ozzeh to find you one of his *loose* Dutch girlfriends who live in Amsterdam :D
