Prisoners Abroad non existing

Hellenistic world flavor pack,
Epirus flavor pack,
Magna Graecia Content Pack

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After war ended, the game shows the banner of prisoners abroad with two names in two countries. However, the characters are free.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Wage a war, get someone from your country prisoner, win the war.

Can confirm that one for marius 2.0.3. Currently have 2 prisoners in exile who are already in heaven, and constantly giving me -0.4 Stability in my current Ironman game.

Why would political prisoners affect stability anyways? Wouldnt like a loyalty malus to all familly members be a better penalty?


Anyway... it appears after restarting the game, they dissapeard. Which i'm sooo glad .. for a sec i thought i lost my 2 weeks old ironman game to a bug. ^^

Quite odd, because that's usually how it works for me - I put something into JIRA, and a while later the issue resolves itself.
All that's left afterwards is regression. Hm.

I know this game is dead but can devs at least put some efforts in making it at least playable?

The worst thing is i looked to mod things, you know, every year with an on_action check for prisoners that should be and release them but you can't cause this sh*t is hardcoded ... seriously.

Is there a way you could, rather than preventing the stab hit for having prisoners away, have a check for prisoners away and give that nation a counteracting stab boost when they're detected? Just a thought :)
 
The issue is that you can't track them as they are actually not prisoners at all ... So if you check every character that is prisoner you won't have them in the list. That's what is tricky if you don't have access to this "Abroad" list there is nothing you can do, and you don't have access to it.

Could you poll stability effects, perhaps? No idea about any of this sorry, just random ideas
