There was a few peasants that rose in the ranks to the level they would be represented as characters in CK3 but these was quite rare and since the game is about dynasties it would be kind of hard to play as a former peasant since you would need to start as that character.
If they add some manner of adoption mechanic, they might become playable.

As it is, the various random (non-noble) character adding methods, and bestowing of titles and positions cover the likes of Thomas Churchill or William Marshall.

I think a game named the Guild 2/3 might interest you. It's actually about just that, toiling away at your farm or workshop, hiring fellow farmers and workers to help you out, expanding your business, and rising through the ranks of late-Medieval society to become a respectable bourgeous citizen and a powerful figure in your local and even national politics.
Now keep in mind that the whole series is a really bad case of Eurojank and imo sequels cannot hold a candle to the original Europa 1400 die Gilde but if you can get past all the jankiness you can find a surprisingly immersive and captivating game of intrigue and politics there.

I can't wait for the event of a plague arriving and you dying because your local noble doesn't care about you.

You say that as if it's a bad thing! To be fair, the whole idea of locking yourself up in the castle immediately to keep yourself from getting the plague in CK2 is a little OP because you instantly know it's overtaking the land. It should be nerfed a bit! It's almost impossible to die to the plague as long as you avoid it by pressing a button. Zzz

Mount and blade, kingdom come... You name it

Mount and Blade is alright, but it takes modding for it to really be fun. Kingdom Come isn't really a good one. You essentially start out as a knight and you never get the upper movement from peasant to King growth that you would like.

Nice! I'll try it out! It sounds really neat!

As others have said this seems like something that wouldn't be able to exist within the scope CK2 operates in.

Russian Tsar Ivaylo

Bulgarian not Russian.

This is not a game about playing a peasant. It's not about whether it'd be fun or not, it's just nothing this game does, and if the game let you do it, it'd essentially be a separate game slapped on to CK3.

Cmon now. Don't tell me that wouldn't be fun!
I think this would be far more fun to write the events for, than to play. Imagine getting the marriage event, and being charged a wedding tax to compensate your wife's old lord for the loss of her as a worker. Being conscripted to the levy and marched into war, but not as a commander - instead as a light infantry man. Punished if you try to run away before your lord. Have an income based on your number of sons, but being locked into gavelkind, with buildings within the farm holding being given out seperatly.
No court, no army (other than the one you are forced to marched in....)

Supposedly during CK3 timeframe one peasant started to have visions at age of 13. At age 17-18 convinced their king that these visions was true and was involved in several battles and sieges. At age of 19 was executed. Actually Im not sure this is a real story or simply a propaganda tool but it is quite interesting how a person with such modest background could become so famous and probably more well know than their king. Other peasants was made into emperors or kings or managed to reach knighthood so with some luck you could leave your farm for a throne.

With some luck a peasant could get quite far in the hierarchy and become quite important so starting as a peasant don't have to mean your last character would also be a peasant. Sure CK3 is not intended to be played as a peasant but it could be quite interesting to play as titlelss characters and maybe eventually end up as a monarch, mercenary leader or something else.

But I mostly Agree with this and spending resources or a peasant mini game or whatever is probably not something that should be done.

Why stop there? I want to be a raven in medieval times! You get to eat the innards of plague victims, peck people's eyes, and annoy knights by taking a dump on their shiny armor! And who knows, maybe you can even enter the court and take your rightful place next to Glitterhoof!

Being a plague virus population might actually make for a pretty cool game.

We already have plauge inc for that.
but why not have it in CK? There are also other games to play peasant, so this isn't any more ridiculous than this thread's request.
