Now I feel my post about this issue was warranted and didn't deserve the lock it got. There was clearly an issue then and there still is now.

Not gonna get angry but I am just a little upset and disappointed that they refused to recognise there was an issue. I'm glad it's being looked into now though.

It really did seem like they didnt want to admit an issue on their end. Very unprofessional to just write us off when clearly most if not all Xbox players are having the same issue

Why can’t I update cities on Xbox my console is up to date but not cities there’s no updates and can’t support industries that’s really bad customer service if there’s no update in the next 2-4 days then I need a refund not all $15 but half of that refund since I got parklife and green cities

Since they failed to meet their own release date despite continuing to promote its release today you're entitled to a refund right now. According to these patch notes the release date was midnight local time which has come and past for everybody. If no update comes by the end of the day the devs could potentially find themselves in the middle of a class action lawsuit. I highly doubt it would ever come to that but without solid communication as to what's going on I think a lot of players would start thinking drastically

Hey guys! Can you try one more thing for us?

Microsoft has passed on the instructions that users should fully shut down their system (hold power for 5 seconds or full shut down from settings menu) and then the update will appear. Please try this and report back if it DID or DID NOT work please

We understand this is frustrating for you, as it is for us. We're working with our partner (in this case, Microsoft) to try and resolve the issue, and that's why we really appreciate your patience and understanding!

Full shutdown via power button DID NOT yield an update. Will now try from setting menu

Thanks for reporting back. We've confirmed with Microsoft that those instructions did not resolve the issue, and are progressing to figure out the cause of the issue. Please believe me when I say we're doing everything in our power to bring you Industries
