Interested in Creating RP Group

Hey! I am thinking about creating a roleplay community that isn't heavy on restrictions. I am hoping to build a semi-serious environment so that players can enjoy themselves and such in a collaborative story telling environment. If you are interested post in here and if I see a good amount of interest I'll make a discord chat for everyone. I already have a simple ruleset made.

Times will be at Saturdays 8 PM EST (5 pm PST) - 11 PM EST(8 pm PST

Rules:
Rules Our rules are simple to allow for RP. We will be changing and modifying rules often.
1a. So long as people don't have issues with what you are doing, you are fine.



1b. Please consider doing things in moderation. Don't go overboard. If players don't have a problem with what you are doing then you are fine. If you consistently dominate games you will be told to hold back.



2. Nations should follow civics/ethics. Civics/ethics can change, but be realistic about changing civics.



3. Don't ruin the fun of others

• Is the play you see "in character" but cut-throat?
• What skill levels are involved? For the forum I'm a reasonably BAD player. Better than a TOTAL newb but still not as good as most folks here.
• What sort of game settings are often used?

Sorry for the dumb questions. I haven't done much MP in official groups with Stellaris before.

FYI: I haven't gotten any forum messages or replies. Not sure if this is effectively a dead thread ; group ; etc. or not.

In that case gentlemen we've at least got 3 people potentially in our group .... That's not much but it's a start

I'm usually available for gaming:

• M-F 9 PM to 1 AM Eastern ; 6 PM to 10 PM Pacific
• SA & SU: 12:00 PM to 4 PM && 9 PM to 1 AM Eastern

Skill: Probably as good or better than a random person with Stellaris ; Probably "bad" by this forum's standards. In Single Player I'm generally Admiral / no scaling / no advanced starts / high agression / AI mods is about right for the early game.

Preferred Competition Level: I'm flexible but I don't think I'd fare well in a cut-throat environment. I'm the guy that will get caught 'rapidly expanding' without a big enough military to handle a human ... not even close

Role Play Level: Medium. I will come up with a 'concept' to play and then will play that out fairly well. Will design my species to match the concept. Will "Meta Game" based on game settings [Khan / Crisis / FE / AE management].

Preferred game settings: Spiral Galaxy [immersion] ... Low habitability % & no guaranteed planets [lower micro with lower planets] ... high AI aggression. Play on "fastest" with minimal pauses. [Depending on micro level could be flexible on pausing or game speed]


House Rules: Willing to discuss them but I'd prefer not to make things too complicated. Would rather discuss our "RP Builds" and then assume people will RP their build. If we have a problem with the build then we'll discuss it before game

I really wish to play with "Glavius Ultimate AI" mod, but this can make trouble for everyone who is used to vanilla AI, even on Ensign difficulty xD
I font have too much requirements, but i do want to have some fun, so no min-maxing.
I played lot of RPG, but never in english, just because it is not my native language so i'm sorry for all my mistakes.

I also run Glavius AI MOD so I'd be OK there. I also have been playing using the BETA patches as I find them [mostly] superior to the official patches.

I'm willing to do "almost pure roleplay" as long as we have the freedom to "META-GAME" things like knowing when the Khan & Crisis will probably be.

Usually from 19:00 - 01:00 CET. During weekends, usually the whole day, unless I have some special stuff I need to do.

I only played on Captain difficulty so far, altho I have 900 hours in the game already. I always RP as an empire which cares for the well beeing of it's citizens. Early on I'm usually very passive in term of agression, I focus on my economy until I feel like I have a good core, altho of course I always have a sizable fleet just in case, and maybe because of this, I expand relatively slow. Later on I like to wage wars, especially total wars with my Colossus, but when I get new terrotory, I go passive for a time, until I have that developed. I also really like to make alliances and treaties thru the whole game, and I always take them seriously (RP reasons) so no backstabbing.

Bummer ... 19:00 to 1:00 CET likely wouldn't work for me. I'm not usually done with work and dinner until 2:00 CET because I keep US "Pacific" time zone hours for my job.

i hope you can find someone that can game with you. It's not easy finding a good RP group that you like hanging out with.
