Should i buy the game?
I purchased this one, I find the game interesting, until I have more than 20 hours played and continue to play.Should i buy the game?
It’s still coming soon and folk can still preorder it…I have a horrible feeling this game is gonna get the Imperator treatment. An abandoned game, that nobody talks about and is sidelined as some irrelevant failed project.
And that is the thing I am worrying about. No right mind can just abandon a game, while still leaving it's DLC for pre-order. You know the old trick, where you tie a carrot to a stick and then the donkey follows it. That is us.It’s still coming soon and folk can still preorder it…
If there is one thing that will completely extinguish the candle for this game, it is another delay of the DLC. I already have very little hope left, one more delay and it's pretty certain they are just holding us back. The Nintendo site has it down for June this year now.

Empire of Sin - Expansion 2/Empire of Sin/Nintendo Switch/Nintendo
The second expansion for Empire of Sin includes new game mechanics, missions, and powerful characters that come to visit Chicago. The question is, will you let them stay?ec.nintendo.com
I'm certain that will happen. Nothing surer...
Seriously, but what I heard is you have companies busy blaming each other that they can't just easily respond. However, Steam members are talking class action lawsuits against companies so I guess we will see where that goes. Be nice to see some response for a game supposedly loved by developers. How hard is it to say something... anything?
And this is the reason for the lack of communication. People who bought the season pass bought two DLCs. They obviously only released one DLC.Seriously, but what I heard is you have companies busy blaming each other that they can't just easily respond. It’s standard for there to be a non disclosure clause for when things go awry. So there’s little point in badgering Romero Games as they cannot respond without eliciting legal complications upon themselves.Seriously, but what I heard is you have companies busy blaming each other that they can't just easily respond. Thank you for your effort. The reply I received from customer support a couple of months ago stated that the game/2nd DLC was still in development. I am also not sure why they develop the console version and not the PC version for this. I can only imagine that they don't want to risk any trouble with Microsoft or Sony in the future if they don't provide content that people actually paid for.So I contacted the Paradox Support about this matter, and the attached is the whole reply. If I believe everything I read, the PC version of Empire of Sin is no longer supported, or being developed. But the console version is still being worked on. I guess I will wait more.
If it weren't the first time a Pdox game had been silently abandoned, I would be shocked, but unfortunately, it seems more of a trend.Thank you for your effort. For the PC market it's different. I won't be done with a voucher either, because on PC there are countless sources to buy the game and activate it on Steam.
It's an absolute shame that they silently kill the game, leave customers hanging who paid for a 2nd DLC that they will never receive and will never be compensated for...
Above all it's just ridiculous to still sell the version containing the 2nd DLC on Steam knowing very well that this will never be released. This is outright scam, I can't find another word for that. I think this deserves coverage and really taints Paradox' reputation. Also their reluctance to communicate things is troubling.
you don't sell something you don't own.
