Great stream guys! It covered a lot of the management sim and that was info I was really interested in seeing. Looking forward to the next stream!

Excellent stream, great mix of the Show with the Tell. Cknorr will never live down what he did to that Locust.

Excited by what I saw of the Merc Sim aspect. Also the little mech models in the captains quarters were a nice touch.

This stream was great. Exactly the right pacing and amount of details for both newcomers and beta backers. The UI looks very clean and easy to use, too. The timeline listing upcoming events and the various functions offered by the different rooms and people made for a definite XCOM vibe. Which can only help interested players with no previous BT experience.

Biggest change I saw is probably that the "Angel of Death" skill has been replaced with "Ace Pilot" which lets you move after shooting (if you didn't move initially). Maybe an attempt to nerf death from above?

The one thing I don't like are the 3D mechwarrior portraits. They look low-res and kinda fugly, with serrated edges and empty backgrounds. At least they did in every screenshot and video I've seen. I prefer the drawn ones from the beta.

So putting aside my compounding grumpiness related to hardpoint allocation (dual ballistic mounts on a Locust, really?), I'm very pleased with what I saw here.

I'd have to agree on the portraits, with the hopeful thought that they might look better bigger and on my computers screen rather than scrunched down on my phone.

.

What did he do to the locust? Did he try to surf it? Or befriend it?

So, any numbers floating around that were of interest? Weapons, economy or ship subsystems?

Well I must say that was enlightening and just as importantly enticing, thank you for the stream. I lost count of the number of times I went to move my mouse to click on something.

Excellent job. Much better than the last one.

Lots of good information. I plan to watch it again after work. And thank you for no spoilers. I saw all the spoilers I want watching CohhCarnage stream the intro missions.

How is @cKnoor cheating? I want to cheat as well.:)

Great Stream. Mitch and cKnoor are a good Streaming Team, and Kiva gave Information and great insight.

I am on mobile and can’t go to video at the moment but there appeared to be a bug when y’all were looking at the hiring hall. The icon that designated that one of the pilots was unavailable due to MRB rating appeared to be a white box and not the normal icon. Did I remember that right?

I ran the game in debug mode, which has access to a bunch of commands like "Kill all", once I got to the point where we streamed I had spent a few missions worth of just accepting missions and using kill all to instantly complete them. Which is why I had a bunch of c-bill, mechwarriors with xp and mechs without any damage, except for the two that I had prepped.

Prepped - you mean squished flat by a dropship. @Hatchy will be impressed.

I’m sure someone will figure out how to unlock debug mode eventually.

Mechs without any damage. Except the Locust, which was just a head. Because you landed on it. Honestly wish you had recorded that for our benefit. That's carrying the Death From Above concept to its absolute peak, short of dropping a meteor on a Flea.

No, there's a moment in the lore that one-ups that: in the Dark Age, a Jade Falcon eliminates a challenge to her authority by dropping a warship on them.

Twas but a small, old Warship hardly deserving of the designation...
