Nice AAR.

In the interest of proper knowledge of Dutch history: The polder of Flevoland was only completed in 1968, before that it was all water. Also many of the dykes you see in Zeeland were only created after 1953. The map you use is from after 1968. Sadly I haven't found a map of my country like it was in 1939.

This is no critising by me of your AAR, but just a note so the readers of your AAR can impress others with facts about Dutch history unknown to them. :D

I suspected as much, but like you, I was unable to find a decent map of the Netherlands in WWII. I thought about putting out a disclaimer to say I was unsure of the accuracy of the map, but I figured some enterprising reader (like yourself) would help me out. Thanks! :D

I've been reading this AAR for a while now, and I feel I should chime in with a "WOW." Stellar stuff, easily as good as Shaara, Bond, Clancy, etc, etc, etc. As an avid reader of historical what-ifs and such, I have to say, this is professional grade stuff. I hope you've at least considered a career as a writer.

btw, I see that you're from Michigan and you're in the exam crunch. Just out of curiousity, what school do you go to? I'm a CMU student myself, so I thought I'd ask. In any event, good luck on your exams and good, no, make that great work on the AAR.

Again Invert, good luck on your exams.

I'll have to look at my dad's maps and give you the title, it's like a West Point survey or something of Europe and the Med during WWII.

Don't forget this AAR, invertigo. :(

Please forgive the absence. I was whisked quite surprisingly away from my computer for the last few weeks, largely due to graduation parties and an intense job/apartment search. As I'm classless and jobless at the moment, I haven't much to distract me, so I am working on the next post as of right now. Look for it either later today or tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there!

Looks like you're having trouble finding a job.

aparently, he found a job ina chinese sweetshop. Suggested plan of action: raid said sweetshop, take invertigo, force him to write updates.

Agreed.

LOL You guys are great. Yes, I've had some trouble finding a job, but I haven't become so desperate as to move to China. The problem is I've found a new job and apartment, but I can't move in until June 7th. Unfortunately, the lease on my old apartment has expired. So in the meantime I'm living with my mother (it's as much fun as it sounds) and she has no internet at all. My computer also needs repair, as one of the 5v leads is burnt out (not sure how that happened, but we did have a pretty severe thunderstorm a few weeks ago...maybe the surge protector sucks?) and as a result, the computer occasionally and randomly shuts itself off, eliminating whatever work I stupidly finished without rapid saving and otherwise screwing everything else up. So here I am at a friend's house, checking my email and this forum for the first time in 2 weeks I think. :(

I'm afraid until I move into my apartment and get my computer fixed and get my internet up, I'll have to put this AAR on hold. I'm not happy about it, but that's just the way things are. I apologize that it's taken me so long to let everybody know what's going on, but as you can imagine, things have been a little hectic lately. I thank you all for your continued interest and support of this AAR, even in my absence. I'm only sorry I can't deliver at the moment as I used to, but I promise I will NOT abandon this AAR or all of you. After all...where else will I find such a steady supply of compliments? lol

Sincerely
