If I am to take you correctly what you are saying is that bugs reported HERE in the OFFICIAL forums of the Game you are Developing a Mod for, will be ignored - because reasons; and we should go join another third party forum to report bugs if we find any - again because reasons.
Yeah what if I don't want to do that? Does that then mean my (or others like me posting in this thread) contribution means nothing?
What if I don't want to give a third party my information, that is often required, to sign up for the forum because I don't trust a random third party with that information?
I mean companies like PI are required to keep that information secret because of Data Protection, but some random dude like yourself on the internet has no real deterrent on him/her. It sounds paranoid but it's better to be paranoid and have it be "pointless" than be the victim of identify theft.
I am sorry but hundreds if not thousands of people visit these forums every day, you would think that you guys would want to have an active presence on these forums... ya know for exposure and whatnot. Hiding on some random private forum elsewhere seems... counter productive.
I don't really have the time to be actively bug hunting, or otherwise contributing to the mod, as much as I would love to help out. The most I can do is notice what bugs and problems I notice, and then say in the Mods Thread on the Official Modding forums for the Game that the Mod is for that "Hey I found this bug!" And you guys will find many people like me in that regard.
Demanding that someone go to and sign up for a random third party forum in order to say "hey i found this bug" once in a blue moon is ridiculous especially since your reason for it is "we can't be bothered checking or keeping up with this thread, or requesting a mod sub forum here." Or so it seems.
Yeah. Mind boggled right now man. In fact, it might even be blown.
Okay, first of all, this thread is the one with most replies and views in the whole "Darkest Hour - User Modifications"
Heck, it's even the biggest thread in the whole Darkest Hour forum. Why? Because it's the biggest and most popular mod for Darkest Hour.
Where do you think it would be best to organize the biggest mod for Darkest Hour?
In one single thread on the Paradox forum? Or in it's own organized forum?
It's not that we're too lazy to check this, it's just that there are so many things going on in this thread that it sometimes, NOT ALWAYS, could
be hard to keep up with everything, especially important things like bugs. (This doesn't mean your bugposts here means nothing, it's just possible to miss it sometimes)
And about a Sub forum, paradox hasn't been giving them out for quite a time.
Why? Because this forum is already today overloaded. So not only are we making it easier for ourselves using another forum, were also making it easier for Pdox.
If you don't want to register on our forum it's your loss.

If you just check it without registring, you can see, that it contains a lots of subforums and threads, so while we are talking at the same time about revamping Russia, including Alaska, renaming Delhi, other posts won't get lost either.

There was no need to resort to insults however. It wasn't a temper tantrum it was fricking shock at what the dude said. And like I said I know its a bit "paranoid" but honestly theres good reason for it. Better to be careful about who and what information you are giving out than to end up the unfortunate victim of something horrible.

Anything released for publish consumption -free or not- is open to criticism. And so are the creators of that content.

You called the lead developer "some random dude on the internet" and complained that you shouldn't have to sign up at a third party board (risk of identity theft :laugh: !!) to be sure your bug reporting was noticed. That really isn't adult or mature behaviour.
If you can't understand what people are writing, maybe you shouldn't be on an English language board? I mean, his message was clear to me as well as to Davisx3m and we're both Scandinavians.

If you can't understand that you're being a rude, arrogant person, then you shouldn't be in contact with other people, especially when you insult the people who develop this mod for free and voluntarily. Criticisms are fine, I'm sure the Kaiserreich team wants as much criticism as possible, but you're either a rude person, or incapable of realizing how rude you are.
The problem is, that it's not Darkest Hour. It's Kaiserreich. And it's not Kaiserreich's official forum, it DH's. Plus the registration only requires an e-mail adress, how the shit could it be used for an identity theft???? Being cautious is not a bad thing, but in this case, it's reasonless. Even if somebody would hack your email (and if someone can do it via KR forum, she/he can do it without it...), you wouldn't lose... much. It's not like an identity card.
Err... what I wanted to say, you are expecting the wrong people to correct bugs, you should report it to the KR devs, who only sometimes scan this thread, instead of using the Official forum of the Core game, who can't do anything/much to KR bugs...
