That depends on how Kaiserreich numbers the models, actually. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee full functionality with different mods other than DH full, for which I think the icons work well.

Kezoo,
After the remaining minor set, do you plan to develop a set for ahistorical nations as North American CSA, Texas... countries, or soviet free countries, chinese regionals, india/pakistan, middle east ... ?

It is possible, however I will take a small break from this atm. If I resume development it will focus on expanding existing countries with more models first of all, so I cannot guarantee anything.

This thread should really be stickied. Or even better, there should be a stickied thread devoted to only GFX modifications such as Sprites, Icons, the interface, etc. :)

This a fantastic little project, but I'm afraid I do have one tiny issue; it seems the CAS images are a little confused.

I was playing the USSR in Kaiserreich, and the game had assigned the IL-2 image to 1918 ground attack planes, and the 1936 CAS were in fact jet bombers.

Other than that, all is well, keep up the good work.

Kaiserreich uses slightly modified tech tree - there are 4 new Weltkrieg/post Weltkrieg CAS models ( 1916,1917,1918,1922 ).

There's a problem with models.csv download. Can someone upload it on another server?

EDIT: It was only a transitional problem with Megaupload, now working fine.

Kazoo, I see that you included my icons in your mod, perhaps some credit might be due?

Nice to see that you want more icons, and a good idea on the KR icons. However, I am quite busy at work and elsewise atm. I will tell you when the time is on my side again :)

Until then, anyone is of course welcome to make contributions of their own.

Work is overrated, your Icons are not!

Is there a tutorial on how to create Skiff Icons? I'd love to take a stab at it.

Well, I recommend this:
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?347944-SKIF-style-icons-how-to-create-the-quot-fade-out-quot-effect

I do not think there are any complete tutorials out there, but my advice is to use an image editing software that work with layers (Photoshop, GIMP etc.), play around and try different things.

In general, a light background with low contrast is recommended, keeping the actual model images darker and with higher contrast. Army images are usually made with a soldier in the lower left corner, shown from the middle of the chest up. Airforce and navy are more freely designed imo. Remember to keep proportions right, and don't use too low quality images.

Colour images of naval units are hard to find sometimes, but these can be made by colourizing black and white images. This is a lot of work, but I think it is quite fun and the result is usually nice :)

Kazoo I hope you get fired so you can focus on the skif icons once more! :p
Cheers mate and keep up the good work! It's appreciated!

Gee, that's a swell way to thank him.

Anyway, I whipped up some generic black African militia, though they're all based on Ethiopians:

Unfortunately, they are 4 pictures milked into 8 models, but I didn't find that many good pics. Most of the stuff on the net, including the latest model here, is modern.

I'm fixing to do Infantry and Marines too, and the earlier HQs at least, with mtn, cavalry, garrisons, motorized and mechanized HQ and paras being less of a priority.

Edit: the first guy's rifle is the same colour as the background; very hard to spot, but he has one.

Hello everybody. Kazoo, your icons are simply brilliant...but with some little minus - Russian icons of post-Great War are too "sovietic". I changed RUS icons and "unsovetized" them :) Also, I added Russian 1914 HQ :) If anybody is interested - here is the link.
