Kickstarter Update 50 - BATTLETECH Keys Are On Their Way!

Unfortunate wording on my end aside, there's still no sound reason why they couldn't just give out keys for the Deluxe edition (where eligible) as well?

It's not like either gog.com or Steam need to specifically accomodate for that - as pointed out earlier there already are both a Standard and a Deluxe edition package including all the extra stuff available for (pre-)purchase yet HBS for whatever reason hands out keys for the Standard edition only and redirects backers to yet another platform to get their Deluxe extras(???).
Certainly wouldn't mind being told the reasoning behind this really odd decision.

I did not have to sync my Steam account, I just put the code from the backerkit in and hit sync and about a day later the icons showed up.

Sometimes it takes just a couple hours after the syncing of accounts for the new Avatars to show up, sometimes it takes a day. But if you follow the above guidance, you'll be well on your way to a great selection of Big and Stompy Avatars! : )

Got my key put it into steam to get it downloaded ready for tomorrow morning, icon shows and then...

Then realised its 9am PDT not 9am local time

So I've got to wait till 17:00 tomorrow before I can play (and I toke the day off as well)

Does it report a disk write error?
