And here I was hoping they'd make the eye of the sahara a tier one great works that you can upgrade into the city of atlantis.
I mean, it's through the female line (multiple times), so the bloodline probably wasn't inherited; no way the AI pulled off that many matrilineal marriages.
First off Snow Crystal has repeatedly stated that new bloodlines will be added all but confirming the Ottonian (a historical bloodline) or a non-Karling HRE creator (A created bloodline).
Second off he has confirmed he is adding some descendant or ancestor of Alfred.
Third and probably the most important is that he thumbs upped Ictivion talking about revamping the English adding more history files and even more interesting is a new start date. This would completely be in line with Snow Crystals obsession with Celtic Paganism. While a new start date isn't likely it would fit perfectly, first off it brings in the King Arthur bloodline like the Child of Destiny bloodline, something that many people have been clamoring for, second off it reinforces why Stonehenge and other ancient wonders were put into the game and third off it gives them a connection to Rome Imperator and a possible converter which also fits because Snow Crystal is a game dev for Rome: Imperator. I suspect however that it is a lot lower scale and is instead a Breton/England/Celtic revamp simply because adding 100-200 years is not easy to make, yes they did it with the Viking age and Charlemagne but one could argue that Charlemagne was the start of the medieval era, at least more so than the end of the Roman period (I view the intermediate period as significantly different compared to the post-Charlemagne era. There is also the problem of the Islamic Conquests and playing as Mohammed/Muhammed.
