Awesome. Now, when do we get Whammys and Marauders? They're no longer unseen, and they're classics.

???? Some big news today I haven't heard, or... just speculating on the possible settlement?

You guys ROCKS!

Thank you for this huuuuuge Update!

I feel spoiled by even asking this now, but what is the Roadmap now? Since you over-delivered on your current one! :D

How do u do that?

Lets take this scenario: You got your "main lance" in the first four slots in MechBay1 (the last two are still empty). MechBays2+3 are empty. You now want to create another lance in MechBay2.

1) First Ready two random Mechs other then those you want to field for your 2nd lance. That will fill up the two remaining empty slots 5+6 in MechBay1.
2) Ready the four Mechs you want to use for your 2nd lance. They will be set automatically in the slots 1-4 in MechBay2
3) Now cancel the two Mechs you readied initially for slots 5+6 in MechBay1 from the worklist.
4) You end up with the first four slots in Mechbay1+2 filled with the Mechs you want there. All others remain empty.

So basically you use random Mechs from your storage as placeholders for the Mechbay slots you want to keep empty.

OK, so I started a new campaign this morning (UTC +10) after downloading the beta update. I selected 8 parts needed for 'mech salvage.
I just loaded up that campaign and did another mission ("hard" setting - but I blitzed it - yay me lol), but noticed I now only need 7 parts...
Was that something that was changed with the update proper or is that a bug of some kind?

If we downloaded the game from the Humble Store with a code from backing the Kickstarter, how do we update our games?
When Humble finally updates you will have to download the whole installer again to update. :/

Ironically, the only part of the tool tips in Store and Salvage that is "truncated" (known issue) for me is ... the new part showing how many of that item I have in inventory already! And it only happens with weapons (which it would be useful to know how many I have) not ammo bins and equipment (which I'm less concerned with). o_O

Loving everything else about the update so far, though!

Wow, so many things to customize. When I am done with my playthrough, I am going to start over. :)

After such a big Update incl. an another 1,5 GB Patch yesterday a new Carrier should be started. Older Saves should work, but to minimise the risk I recomend to start a new Game.

I think I wait for the next big one this or next month, because I love Battletech and wait a little longer for new Improvements. But maybe I beginn a new Carrier with that Version and the very good bugfixes / new contents again. But we will see.

In the Meantine I have to do some things:
a) play Hoi 4 with the now existing Version 1.5.3 (the next big Patch / DLC is comming there in 2019) to end a Hoi Game with a Nation
b) modding Hoi 4 a little for german Players [Fleets- and Shipscorrection] with the existing Ships / Fleets in the main Nations (Germany, Italy, England, Commonwealth, France, Poland, etc.)
and c) support Xenonauts 2 [Kickstartersupport and Betaplaying in August / September 2018].

Is it essential to start a new game with this patch? I have a campaign currently going that I would like to continue with if possible.

The update works fine with your save. But you cant use the new settings for a campaign, unless you start a new one.

So I say start a new Carrier. But I think I will wait another 1 Month / 2 Months for the 1.2 Version of the Game with the other big announcements the Developers promissed (like more mechs, more side Missions, evtl. experimental armor for more weapons / additional equipment to bring on, etc.).

I love Battletech and the Groundversion of the Game was very good, and the enjoyment about new elementes are bigger if you wait longer. Like I said I have to do some things more and I can wait for more contents for BT. Like in the good old dayes where the C 64 and first PC´s were comming up and the good Games were rare.

Now it hit me - if you change the mech parts to more than 3, you can't get the Quickdraw from the pirate queen in the Capture the Argo Mission. I get it in the last two runs. Life is hard in the 1.1 (and loving it).
