The game load wont stop it just stops moving on Reading Scenario. Usually this only happens after a while of playing that particular file so it really annoys me that I can never get a game done. I spent near 2 and a half hours downloading the new patch thinking it might have something in there to fix it. I really dont know a whole lot about my computer and all the requirements i have the right Direct X and thats about it.

How can I fix this?

What patch were you using?

Well here is my standard stuff to try first.
1) Make sure you have the latest patch for the game.
2) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
3) Set the color depth to 16BIT
4) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
5) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.

In your start menu you should have an option to update your windows.

To set color depth you right click on the desk top then select properties, settings, then you will see the option to change "color quality"

no problem
you should run windows update a few times until you log on and there is no updates left.

Not questioning your wisdom or anything but is this a smart thing to do?
Im using Norton firewall and as such this is located in system tray.
So if i did this, it wouldent take many minutes until my pc would be infected with Virus, worms or just good old spyware.

P.S. I never had a problem with a game where i couldent do without disabling stuff like Firewall.

I do not run with a anything in my system tray, never had a virus protetion program, and I have never had a virus in my life, and I have been on the internet since before it was called that. Now I do surf safe and my security setting are not wide open like most people but there you go.

If you are worried, simply disconect your system from the Internet while performing that test. Also I have seen Norton interfere with some programs, and it has been report here as causing problem before, which is why it is on the list. ;)
