*wheezes and chuckles creepily* Tommorow's the big day everyone. Hope you're ready...

Can't wait!

People, don't get too excited, Futuregary is uploading the map today, but we still have to calibrate a few things, polish it and finish some loose ends in other fields and then we'll release it.

I've done as much as I can to reduce the amount of polishing necessary. Localizations and flags have been added; AFAIK, the only major gameplay element that still needs to be added is the holy sites and religious reformation, but that requires some reanalysis of holy sites pertaining to the new map. That's actually next on the list, after character reorganization (there's a lot of stuff being undone and redone in the characters, and it's getting quite bothersome).

well, technically, the ones with SVN access get to see it first, which is what they're excited for
it's almost tempting to password-protect the SVN  ( which helps build hype, but that also means less volunteer bughunters - which can be counterproductive and reduce the effect of the hype, almost a zero-sum result heh)

The problem with SVN is that I have to download the "Transfer your modding stuff here" folders along with with everything else, and their so massive that the program times out and quits before any of the actual mod gets downloaded.

EDIT: Just found out that I can choose to omit that from the download. Nevermind.

The map is much bigger than I expected. Everything looks stretched width wise, however. The shape of Britain and Italy are bugging me. I mean, I'll get used to it. It is just sooo much to take in.
