Ok, I'm completely lost.
After having deleted all my files (not the bmps, just the txt files) and having run the MapFiller tool, it's was worse than at the beginning. Nothing worked. I ran it again and again... And nothing worked. I wasn't able to get to the Main Menu. The game crashed at Map Logic phase of the startup sequence.

I have been working for three hours and this is the result. Everything is working fine again... except Province 50, Zhedian Spires.
I'm baffled.

I'll continue tomorrow. I don't know where to begin.
...
I tried replacing my manually modified 01landed_titles,txt with the one automatically generated by the MapFiller tool, and not using any other file (including default.map, etc...)

Now the mod works, and I can use the Main Menu. However, province 50 (The Zhedian Spires) is still considered a wasteland. I cannot enter it, it belongs to no kindom, duchy or empire, it has no holdings...

The files looks fine. I'm absolutely baffled.

I would ask any of you, please, to look again at my files. I don't know what is wrong, and it seems I cannot find the mistake on my own. I have used the MapFiller tool (the game crashes in Iniciating Map Logic). I have replaced the automatic default.map for mine. The game works perfectly (I can choose any of the provinces that are held at the beginning, or save the game and keep playing with a random character with any of the other counties), but province 50 keeps being a wasteland, and it looks like I don't know how to repair it.

I'm attaching some of my files. I have renamed the csv, xls and map files to txt. I have checked and recheck the folders, and there are no extra spaces in 50 - Zhedian Spires.

Then there's your problem. I already said on the previous page that the game engine requires one more province than the total. Add another line to your definition, doesn't matter what values you put in it.
One more than the total? I've Never encountered that. Or does that only apply when there is no ocean provinces present?

As far as I am aware, "one more than the total" only applies to max_provinces in default.map.

That is not necessary. A weird thing to do.
You can respectfully disagree with me all you want, but you're wrong. I just tried it out myself with a map with two provinces. If I only have two province lines in the corresponding definition.csv, the second province is a wasteland in-game. If I add a third line, both provinces show up.

So, it is in fact necessary.

My mod is now working. It's not very interesting, of course, just being a bunch of provinces with odd names in an odd continent. A continent which is inhabited by Irish Catholics.

But now I can work on more interesting features.

Ran into a CTD problem with my mod. I have a lot of one county nomads right now, which are created by the game when I hit play (only have title history for 1 county). But after about a year or so of play, the mod CTD's and it has ran fine until insertion of nomads. It seems as if something is going on under the hood with the nomads that we cannot seem to fix. Also, we tried running the mod without Horse Lords selected, but the nomads still show up as nomads (not tribal), although I am unsure if this is related to the CTD problem.

Here is the error log after the CTDs:

[gamestate.cpp:3608]: pUnit->GetOwner()->GetDemesne().GetUnits().Contains(pUnit) != true
[gamestate.cpp:3609]: pUnit->GetOwner(): Kobyak of Kuzhi (6661)
[gamestate.cpp:3610]: pUnit->IsArmy(): 1 pUnit->GetLocation(): Muke
[gamestate.cpp:3611]: pUnit->GetNumSubUnits(): 0

I've been getting that error a lot as well and also crashes. But I also got it before I had any nomads in my mod. I don't think nomads are causing it.

By the way patch 2.5 should have added functionality to turn on/off the automatic converting of tribal to nomad with horse lords disabled. Haven't used it myself but it should be there

That is odd. Keep me clued in if you find a fix for it.

This is the current look of my geographical map (including the names of the counties).

Any opinions?

A lot of things are missing, but it is beginning to look like what I have had in notebooks and in my mind for years... :)
