Thus the map now looks something like this:'

Thanks, that looks good.
The River Kokemäki (Kumoälv) begins from the big T or Y shaped lake just above where you have put the river's beginning in eastern Satakunda.
The river does not form the border between the provinces of Finland and Satakunda, though: the border runs quite a bit farther south. But I guess that's just as well.
The Kymmeneälv/River Kymijoki is fine, forming the border between Nyland and Viborg.
You might consider adding River Tana/Tenojoki that forms part of the natural border between Finnish Lapland and Finnmark. I'm not entirely sure about the run of the river in Finnmark.... you could just draw it along the Finnish border all the way down to the bend where Finnmark reaches furthers south, as one of Tana's tributaries forms that part of the border.
Another river that might be considered is the River Paatsjoki, that runs from the Lake Inari/Enare/Anar to Varanger Fjord, forming the natural border between Russia/Novgorod and Norway. I'm not sure how important the River Paatsjoki was during the EU2 period, though, as it is very big river. But as I said, it forms the natural border between Kola and Finnmark where the Russo-Norwegian border is even today.
