I'm experiencing a strange thing. In the 7 kingdoms 7999 scenario, when I ask my chancellor to fabricate claims in the Iron Island (Hoare) owned Riverlands, the only possible outcome is a 1.46% chance that nobles will be infuriated. Successful fabrication of claims isn't even a possible outcome when I hover over the figure of the chancellor with my cursor. Anyone know why this is?

I think it's just a bug with the tooltip, hover over the Fabricate Claims button in the council screen and see.

Entirely +1.

Though, if Renly died first (and either was childless or had only daughter), it could result in... Aegon auto-inheriting? I don't know.
Edit:

I don't know what exactly stopped you from using "Employ new courtier" functionality for employing holy man ;P and then making him your court septon. It's just you didn't have anyone eligible, as you didn't have any barony level sept or septon on court. 'Employ new courtier' decision let you invite one.

I did have a Septon in my court and I couldn't appoint him, but it fixed itself after the succession.

My game crashes when I click "Court" on my character screen. Any idea why this might be?

Are you running the advisor fix? Apparently that causes a crash (unless its been fixed?) Try running the game without it.
If not try reinstalling the mod.

Does anyone know how to give adventurers more ships? I was playing as the Iron Islands, and kept having random Ironborn adventurer pop up, launching an invasion of some foreign land. Cool, but they spawn in the Iron Islands with lots of troops and no ships, so they just sit there with their massive doomstack, unable to do anything.

Thanks for your response sir. But after some research it appears that the only Arryns of the Vale (when independent as the kingdom of the Mountain and the Vale) can't fabricate claims in 7999 (until 8129). (I waited 8 years without a report success or failure from my chancellor). The tooltip also shows only the possibility of infuriating nobles. It might be a bug or maybe there is something specific about the Arryns that prevents this.

Still having trouble with paying the iron price for valyrian steel swords (but I am have an AMAZING time playing as an Ironborn bastard of Harren the Black)... Whenever I invade Winterfell I do get a pop-up saying I have taken Ice, but it NEVER appears in my traits and stays with the Starks. Is this just a bug, or am I doing something wrong? :/

I had this as well.

The pop up will work if the owner of the word is at the place you are sieging.
If the owner is leading troops elsewhere or as a councilmember on a mission you will get the pop up but it won't give you the sword.

Shortcuts anybody?

Ok so I have added some shortcuts to the mod that allow you to use all the current shortcuts that already exist plus those found in Arumba's mod "Keyboard Shortcuts and Interface Adjust" (found HERE Interface adjust included as well but I think it was in the mod already?) I have also added the "/" (Forward Slash) key to expand/close the army when selected to balance it. Also the period "." key to activate the auto-balance button.
EDIT: Actually 'z' 'x' 'c' or 'v' always end up selecting the top option as do 1234 (in event windows) so I have removed it.

All you have to do is put the files from the download link into the 'interface' folder in your mods directory and replace any existing files. HERE is the link to a thread I started so I could post the link to the .zip file containing the necessary files seeing as external links aren't allowed. You can also find my post in the mods main forum citadel.prophbb.com.

My Mallister game is going great. The Kingdom of the Trident got invaded by the Ironborn, led by a Drowned, Skilled Commander, with formidable fighter, and the Strong trait. Dear god.

Thankfully, they wasted their entire army on assaulting some worthless counties, and we beat them back. After a civil war gone bad, I get stripped of the High Lordship of Oldstones, get sent to the Night's Watch and continue playing as his son who now only owns the county of Seagard. I faithfully serve the Iron Throne after they declared war over the Trident, get restored my high lordship by the King, and my kinsman gets to be a Kingsguard member. The Kingdom of the Reach owns The Reach, The Westerlands, and scattered counties everywhere else.

House Tully went extinct ages ago, the last female married into House Arryn which caused a giant war when a child valeman Arryn inherited the Riverlands. The King in the North is an inbred dwarf and I'm not even sure where Ice went.

Is there a way to allow women lead armies? The usual way of deleting "is_female = no" from job_titles doesn't seem to work. After doing that I can't appoint any Marshal at all.
Trying to test something, but I need a female army leader.

Hmm, I wonder if you can pick the "not a bear" trait and the House traits...

I rather fancy a game as House Beargaryen.
yup. Did it with Mormont ;)

My game is broken apparently because it loads but when I click "single player," although the scenario plot is displayed, I have no characters to select. Anyone else having this problem?
can you still select someone to play by just clicking their lands?

It's enabled by default for certain cultures/certain categories of women (skilled female rulers for example)

Firstly I want to say I love this mod and it's great. I'm a big fan of the show and I'm planning on reading the books.

My Iron Islands game is rather interesting. I started as Balon at the clash of kings bookmark and joined forcers with Robb Stark. Balon died in battle, but Theon took over and helped Robb win the war alongside Dorne who pushed for Independence as well. For the next 22 years, I would raid the Westerlands and the North, occasionally the Reach, for gold and prestiege. I had legitimate son, Balon. I also had tow illegitimate sons: Todric and Baelor. Fearing my dynasty's future, I legitimised them.

However Daenarys was installed as Queen of the Iron Throne. With her Dragons, she reconquered the North but died before she could invade Dorne or the Iron Isles. She died childless. The Throne passed to Mace Tyrell and his grandson Horras is now King. Sansa was married to Jon Arryn's son Robert and the two fell in love. Their youngest daughter is marred to King Horras. Robb Stark pressed his claim on the Riverlands and is now Lord Paramount of both the North and the Riverlands. Tyrion inherited the Westerlands but is now dead and his son Humfrey rules. In the Stormlands, Lord Balon Swann defeated Lady Shireen and became Lord Paramount. In the Reach, Tyrell gave the Reach to house Footly.

Theon continued to raid, but he decided he wanted a Valaryian sword. However, while on his quest, he was slain in personal combat. His son Balon became Iron King Balon X. He went on a raid with his two brothers, Todric and Baelor. However a massive battle where they fought three armies left Todric incapable and Baelor badly wounded. Baelor died from his wound. Balon survived and now raises his heir, Prince Stygg.

As far as I know I've only ever sieged when the owner was defending at the fort itself. In the case for the Starks, I actually ended up capturing Torrhen but he still had Ice even after the pop-up, and when I executed him it just went to his son.
