Now that the rewrite of CK2Plus has gotten into beta state I'll update support to the new version.
The religious clothing can be quickfixed by deleting the lines with 'religion_group = egyptian_group' from blgccck2+/common/scripted_triggers/blg_artifacts.txt and blg_religions.txt.

Ok, I'm stumped.

Trying to run Better Looking Garbs with After the End. I am using BLG/CC After the End as well, with AtE, BLG/CCAtE and BLG all active.

Everything works perfectly except one (only one!) of the AtE governments (Range Feudalism) reverts to feudalism if BLG and/or BLGCCAtE is active. BLG has no government files I can find, I have tried pasting the Interface and Localization files for that government into BLG as well. Nothing changes.

Any ideas what could cause this behavior? I can't locate anything telling in the logs either.

I haven't been able to replicate this. As noted, there shouldn't be any changes to governments or laws. It's probably something for the long awaited ATE hotfix.

Release 13-01-2022 for 3.3.5.1
Better Looking Garbs

Better Looking Garbs is a portrait overhaul mod combining portrait DLC and custom new material to add diversity in clothing and styles for many of the games cultures. The faces, clothing, hair and beard-styles of each source has been recombined to create new portraits.
These new portraits fill the holes still unserviced with cosmetic DLC and add gradations to the existing portrait sets.
In addition to the portraits there are updates to the army and councillor avatar models.
While based around the use of DLC assets these are not required, an installer will add dependent parts of the mod selectively.

Hi, I'm experiencing a bug with some headgear not showing up correctly, using BLG with the After the End submod enabled.

EDIT: I've determined it's something with pacific_male_headgear, if that helps! It seems all the headgear from that image is not showing up, my character should also have a Duke-tier crown (image 5 in that set) which is not showing up, and if I try to customize appearance they are all similarly offset/missing.

EDIT2: Added a couple more screenshots, it appears to also affect (some?) Pacific culture clothing. I'm also not sure if the one non-Saint character having the Saint background is related.

EDIT3: Hmm, I created an Ozlander culture character (a different Pacific culture), and the headgear and clothes work fine! Screenshot four below.

EDIT4: I've found a temporary solution -- removing "tangutgfx" from the Hawaiian culture in zzz_pan.txt (to match the zz_pan_pacific from the base AtE) showing only the following solves the issue:
hawaiian = {
graphical_cultures = { brownpacificgfx }
}
I've attached this version of the AtE compatibility patch for anyone interested, and also removed the event that yells at you for having a bad checksum as a result of this change. Of course, I have no idea if this will break other things, but it fixed the issue as far as I can tell.

It's a small conflict with AtE's own portrait packs replacing chinese clothing. They are redundant with BLG's replacements. It does remind me to change up these portraits to fit AtE better.
Thanks, I was able to make a better fix with that info by just changing the frame number for Chinese headgear and clothing! I have another small bug, which happens with both HIP and with no submods, where some of the eyes look to have some odd artifacting around them. I've noticed Lithuanian and Georgian characters have it so far. Screenshots attached.

I love this mod, it's a must have for me.
On another hand, I think the romans are ugly, even this mod can't make them better. Is there a way for me to, for example, change their portraits to frankish or german and things not break?

You can find the Roman portraits in interface/portraits/portraits_roman.gfx. Change all the occurrences of italian to frankish or similar. Change the eyes2 lines to the same culture too.

Will the mod work if I use just cleanslate and not CK2+ for the time being? I understand cleanslate changes some things about how and where stuff is stored.
