I would like to ask the CO team a few questions about Modding. Not 'what' we can mod but rather 'how'. I want to model some houses and for example traffic lights. I know that there will be info on modding this week but I'm afraid its just basic info without technical detail. If I get to know these things.. I might even start creating new buildings even before the game is released.
- When you guys modeled buildings, what is the polygon count limit you guys have set for types of buildings (residential, industrial.. name it.. but also 'traffic lights, lamp posts'?
- Do we need to take LOD (Levels of Detail) in mind while modeling?
- Can we animate models?
- How does the typical 'mod package' look like for an building addon (archive file, folder structure... scripts?)
