The rightside panel on the main menu for Monarch's Journey no longer appears (the left-side CK3 advertisement is still there). I have attempted to reinstall CK2 multiple times, verify files, clear the settings folder, but it simply won't appear even while logged in to Paradox account.

Is it maybe simply hidden and clicking the golden arrow (to the right of "Single PLayer") would open it ?
 
Have you logged into your Paradox account in the game launcher, before getting to the game's main menu?

What version and checksum appear there?

That's in the main game menu as well as in the launcher, yes?

If so I frankly have no idea what could cause that. Has this ever worked for you?

Last week it did, but only let me use Shajar and earlier challenges. My attempts to correct that by resetting the user folder is what led to the whole thing vanishing, as though it forgot the Monarch's Journey existed.
 
I don't know then. Can you install the game on any other machine, as a test? This is to see if it is confined to this one machine or a more general issue.

Did you delete both CK2 folders (in Steamapps and Documents) manually and completely before reinstallation ?
IF so and the issue is nevertheless still around, do you use OneDrive ?
That might create a backup and simply restore the CK2 folder in Documents after you deleted it.

At least i read that this could be a cause for such issue.
Just an idea.

The folder in steamapps was gone after uninstallation, so I only deleted the one under Documents/Paradox Interactive. I don't know what OneDrive is.

Can you then make a new Windows user on this machine, log in as that and try the game under there?
 
I created a new Windows user, and the Monarch's Journey panel still did not appear when I loaded up CK2.

Edit: Two additional details I've noticed:

1) The error.txt under the user logs folder has this entry repeated six times: "[road_to_titus_progression.cpp:285]: Failed to read reward status from storage "

2) The Crusader Kings II\common\monarchs_journey\monarchs.txt file only lists entries up to the Kulin Kulinic challenge from April. Even if I delete the file and verify game files, Steam will not replace it with a file containing newer entries.

I see that 8 times there.

I see that too, a total of 11 ruler entries in that file even though there are 14 rulers in the game interface. Perhaps they've found a different way of doing it without updating that file, as that would require a new game update every time.

@PDX-Nicou do you have any idea what's going on here, what could cause this?

The entire window for Monarch's Journey on the right of the title screen is not showing up at all, just seeing the CK3 ad on the left side.

Their issue is there is no access to ANY of the Monarch's Journey stuff!
