it does not matter how you get the content if the content owner says you are to receive the content at no additional cost to what you have purchased they have the responsibility to ensure that happens when you expect it to and because it took nearly 4 weeks for the bug to be fixed Microsoft breached New Zealand consumer laws preventing paradox from delivering what customers expected in a reasonable time frame just because it’s an overseas tech company does not exempt them from complying with local laws it should not take a customer to report a problem as a breach of local laws to get it fixed

it should not take a customer getting the problem fixed by reporting the issue as a breach of their countries consumer laws ...
It didn't.

Rotfl, you don't seriously think that someone not having access to free stuff is grounds for legal matters?

As I posted in another thread, CO gave Remastered away for free to console players, no one paid for Remastered, as far as I am aware, there is no laws requiring someone to fulfill such statements, nor is there a deadline that says if you offer free stuff you only have so much time to fulfill that statement.
Everyone who had a physical copy of CS had to pay for the Remastered version.

it took longer than it should have the problem should have been fixed within a few days of it being reported nearly 4 weeks is considered unreasonable by new Zealand law i know this because i used to work in customer service and we were expected to fix a problem with in a few days of it occurring

Good luck taking it to court.

I switched from a physical copy of the game to digital to get Renastered. The problem was I bought DLC content as bundles. I had to patiently wait like everyone else for Microsoft and Colossal Order/Tantalus to find a solution to the issue.

Here in New Zealand there a government agency’s that deal consumer law breach’s so they would have dealt with the issue rather quickly than going through the courts the agency can issue fines for customer law breach’s
A bit difficult when that company is not located within your border.
