Look how old this thread is and to this day, we still don't have a fix. Such simple thing to add, improving greatly quality of gameplay. Shame.

Keybinds would be a useful feature in general, sometimes people do voice calls for their MP gaming.

Give us an option menu toggle then, please, that should solve both sides, ye?

In all my MP games, we never used the chat ONCE, because, hurdur, voicecommunication?

As someone who has hundreds if not thousands of hours in MP, I can say everyone I play with wants this feature. No one complains when people pause "Too often".

Well, IME that's not true, but the people who spam it too much don't seem to have that much trouble finding their way to the pause button on the keyboard regardless.

Though I'm still happy with my response earlier, optional keybinds tends to solve issues like this as a general practice.
