Maybe I wanted something impossible(to be a moderator) but asking gives answers.

But now to my real question, can the Snowball.ru page please do a site with alphabetics? I can't read cyrillic or how to spell it.

I've been curious about that actually.. how and why did they leave? Was it planned that they should just do the framework until Paradox got Victoria out and could change focus or is there a darker tale lurking behind the scenes?

(Now wasn't there a picture of Havard in some thread somewhere so I would be able to recognize him and not be plagued by imposters looking for free beer :p)

just read through this thread, and to sum up for everyone like nikolai and i:

only one crusader king game is being released by paradox.

all the features snowball guys had been posting that were in the game (i.e. genetics) will be in the CK game released by paradox. so all the role play stuff will still be in.

snowball was taking to long to develop CK and thus was removed from the project and is being developed by an in house paradox team.

P.S. they've added 2 new scenarios and you can play vassals and counts now!

Actually - according to one of the developers in that thread (Johan or Patric), most, but not all of the features posted here by Snowball will be in. I believe it was something like 95% or so.

As long as the beezneez-mentioned ability to play counts and vassals is in they can scrap 95% and keep 5% for what I'm concerned:p:D;)

There is, down on the OT somewhere. There are pics of a Norwegian meeting of forum members that Havard attended.. :D

Speaking of OT, well, the last few posts at least have brought the subject back to CK, so at the moment this thread won't disappear down there yet, but please, keep the threads on the topic of CK! There have been a rash of thread closings and movings in the last few days, and very little in the way of actual on-topic posting. It would be nice to see some discussions of CK and the CK period instead of this fluff... :)

Yes.. to a 95-99% degree.

For example.. Some changes have been done...

the reply to marcus valerius's post is from johan from that link nikolai put up. not sure what happened around 1187 (first crusade?) and 1337. but being able to play vassals and counts now is great. seemed we were going to be very limited before.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to playing the Byzantine Empire in that one, and having to battle the remaining latin states from the 4th crusade, the Ottomans, and the European powers trying to carve up the rest of the nation.

That direct translation doesn't make much sense in English.... What exactly is it supposed to mean? :)
