General, I send some corrected files (text.csv and models.csv) yesterday to Steel and I've noticed that those not made into 0.5... :(
I can send you those, so we can compile another instalation - in current one some of the models.csv names are conflicted with those from text.csv. Really annoing and potentially conflict-causing.

Can't wait to try it out, but there is 6 hours 'til I get off from work.

I guess I should blame you guys for ruining my work day, because now I’ll be thinking of playing HoI+CORE the rest of the day, but then again what am I doing replying to post’s on a message board during work hours.................;)

Yes, that should work :) Always install C.O.R.E. last is the mantra, never apply a Paradox patch on top of a mod.
 
AI project

Hi steel

I guess this is more of a retorical question :) , but is it safe to assume that any improvements made in the AI project will be implemented into C.O.R.E.

Hope we wont have to wait too long with ai updates if they prove to be as great as the initial work in the ai forum indicates( Here we go again :D )

I know both myself and Copper Nicus follow the discussions in there. So far it's mostly an exchange of knowledge, there's been some useful discussion from many people and good analysis by Math Guy which is now the basis of strat_redeploy settings in C.O.R.E. v0.5 files.

Generally speaking we can't use the AI files posted there because they are optimised for a different game (another tech tree, different unit costs, different countries!) but I'm sure both projects will benefit greatly from the increased focus on AI files. I've already sent our admiral sections (48 AI files) and minor country AI files (about 20 countries that don't have AI files in v1.05) to Vulture.

Have a had a look at this file and i.e. Holland and Belgium have the sprites of the USA!!!

This resulted in me yesterday seeing USA motorized units in Brussels! (with the white US star)

(can I change this to min again without problems)

yes, that was a Paradox decision....
if all the people complain, we could change it again to the previous entries.
You can easilly change that by yourself. ;)

in country.csv file:
BEL;DarkBrown;BEL;USA;X

change the USA for MIN and that's all. :D

some suggestions for some provinces (i think they were made by vladimir, but i can't remember):

I think that Mukden must give oil as 2. In Fushun (in game inside Mukden) there were oil from oil shale in WWII. And, Anxi could give oil as 5.
maybe it is already implemented, i haven't checked it...

Ok, will add those prerequisites. We simply use different set of tech files, so not all prerequisites from 1.05 might be present in CORE 0.5. But this one looks very reasonable.

Yes you can. I have done it myself and it works fine. Just replace USA with MIN.

There's a lot of countries that need to be edited though. POL, CHI, ARG etc, etc...

This is in 1.05 by the way, so it's not a CORE problem.
