yes, that was a Paradox decision....
if all the people complain, we could change it again to the previous entries.
You can easilly change that by yourself. ;)

in country.csv file:
BEL;DarkBrown;BEL;USA;X

change the USA for MIN and that's all. :D

Yes, i dont like it. It happens for lots of nations, all Eastern, Pland and SPR uses SOV sprites, its specially weird if you use usermade sprites like my SOV infantry or like NewU365's planes, specially the Il2, that will appear in all those countries. Definitely is very weird to see Polish army dressing like Soviet army and armed with PpSh 41, and very weird to see Eastern countries or SPR use IL-2 sturmoviks, the pearl of SOV airforce.

Also, i think that CHN also uses USA sprites... ehm, you'll see them flying in B25s:eek: .

Its stupid becuase Poland's uniform looked more like the American then anything, the Baltics used German equipment.

Yes, that will be better.
Belgium with "white star" trucks, polish soldiers with fur hats... I almost returned to counters...

BTW nachinus - great SOV infantry sprite! :D
ok, I will change that later.
it looks like nobody liked that.... :D

EDIT: logged as the first official bug of v0.5 :D

One problem: Why do land commanders command ships and aircraft at the start of the game?

it was a Paradox decision to remove the wake_leader command, so there is no posibility to send a leader to sleep and then wake him up. That's why the leaders that commanded more than one thing are included there and there is no posibility to remove them.
For example, Kesselring was an air commander, then he became, by the circumstances of the war, a land commander too, that's why he is in both lists. The ideal thing will be to have the land Kesselring sleeping until the circumstances appear, but that's not posible, so they are all in from the beggining. :(

I think maybe i wasnt specific enough... I mean how at the beginning of the game a mj. general is in command of the kreigsmarine and Field Marshall von lieb is in command of the transports.

He probably meen something else - leaders were renambered, but OOBs in CORE no - so, for example, you still have 'leader 312' as commander of Lutftlotte IV. The problem is, 'leader 312' is now land commander von Rundstedt...

EDIT: he was first :)

yep, probably that is the problem, thanks!!! :D

Playing as Canada i noticed something strange. My motorized infantry are called "Kawaleria Zmotory..." and my calvary is called "Kawaleria". Once you create the divs they have normal names, but when you select how many to produce and which model to choose that is what it says.

sorry, but i don't understand very well what you wanted to say. :(
could you explain it more detailed?
in the production screen you see those names?
when you select a division?
when they finish building?

thanks!

I mean when you go to the military production screen, select "setup a new division", then when you click on motorized or cavaly divs, the tab where you select different models for tanks, etc, is where it says this.

One last question, being a CORE newcomer that i am, is it normal for France to improve their forts on the italian and belgian frontier without an event trigger? I know that the extention of forts along the entire front was taken out of frances ai file in 1.05.

i haven't seen it...
there are some events that could lead to that... you just had bad luck... :D

thanks, i will try to reproduce that. :D

I know it wasnt because of events because i set the message controls so all of them appear. The french never chose to extend their forts.

You somehow get polish names for units :) - MECH and MOT are called 'motorized cavalry' and 'armoured cavalry' ;)
