not to be a party pooper, but although we are all glad to see some progress in Crusader Kings, but I'm a bit discouraged by the interface which looks much more limited than Victoria... Map looks a bit dull also..only 3-4 colors for the lands. But regardless of that its nice to see some screenies

Looks to me as if the county borders need the most help, they still look like a quick "MS Paint" job...

i'm thinking first mod for CK of course ;) ---"The First Crusader" :)

Aahh. Well then, stop dawdling and start collecting historical information - rulers, 'nations', spread of christianity (and flavor) etc. so you are prepared to start modding once the game is released :D

Seeing the post from Johan and Fredrik warranted some positive feedback, often I wonder if they realize that all the bitching we do is because we love the games.

In my case and yours that is true - we bitch because we love the game. Not sure that is the way with all the folks though - especially in the Victoria forum.

Now we know why some knights had those beaked helmets. :)

Dont own Victoria so I dont go there. I like Paradox games so I buy them, for those who dont or are unsatisfied with thier purchase they should return the game immediately for a refund.

Simple really, if the games arent up to your expectations dont buy them, including CK when it comes out (see sig).

Hmmm, a paradox on the Paradox forum??
:confused:

No, I just didnt purchase victoria for my own personal reasons. To go into it would be a violation of board rules, when ever possible I dont blatantly skirt rules or engage in hypocrisy. Paradox will never benefit from my purchase of Victoria, it will never reside on my hard drive.

CK however will, I like the game concept and have been entertained by its saga, and afforded the respect due me as a customer which will translate into purchase on release.

I hope victoria goes well for Paradox anything else on Vic or anything other then CK PM Sonny.

Too bad. You are missing out on a very nice game. :(

Unit symbols

Is it how it's gonna be?
Halebard= archers?
Shield =pikemen?
I think that maybe H.A. bow symbol is lacking an arrow and should be used for [foot] archers instead. H.A. need a new symbol.
Heh, I like the trident for the marines. I mean militia :)

looks as though the unit information tells you what type of weapon they have and the type of armor. very cool :) i wonder if militia always have farm tools to fight w/ or if they can be outfitted w/ different equipment. of course if you gave them all pikes, i guess they'd be pikemen then :rolleyes: poorly trained pikemen al least

I'm assuming the coins are gold, hearts are prestige, and crosses(???) piety since it has the incomes and plunder values for those below, just a guess.

Nevermind, that doesn't make sense does it, why would they have it twice?

Ok so hearts are for happiness, swords for troops, but what's above the hearts?

I wonder if the 'crosses' are swords?

To show military power of that class - so you know roughly what you'll get if you raise an army?
