I have followed the PDXCON15 conference via Twitter and there is not nothing about a new game, why nothing new this PDXCON? Nothing on next CK2 DLC? Nothing new seriusly?

It could be a joke much like everything about Rome II, especially if it is Rome II that would be revealed.

Friday
15:00 Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado expansion
16:00 Paradox Interactive Q&A
17:30 Hearts of Iron IV

One and a half hour Q&A could very well include revealing a new game.

They are presenting new footage, and giving journalists and the like a hand-on experience with their upcoming games. They do this in an attempt to create hype.

If they did have something to announce, they probably would have teased it in the week leading up to the event, like they did with HoI4 and Runemaster.

Also: there is someting to be said for not overshadowing the titles of 2015 with stuff due for 2016. Paradox is probably better off making this convention all about promoting HoI4, Cities, etc.

Shams, said, though, that they want to make a continuous gaming experience starting 300 BC and ending last till WW2.

I got a feeling that Rome II might be coming...

Project Augustus
First emperor. Since the Victorian Age was the age of empires, I'm guessing this is Vicky 3.

Project Titus
Militarist. I've got no idea. Maybe a 4x game set in space.

Project Tiberius
His life reads like a CK save. I'm guessing this is Rome II

not sure which, but didnt pdox confirm one of these projects would NOT be a sequal?

What we know: Shams is the biggest troll in PDS history and deserves a prize.

What the PDS side of things does not care about: Cities, Pillars and the three (was it four?) upcoming Magicka games. Even if there is tons of hype around the Magicka franchise and would be 10 new Cities games or 15 announcements of Pillar DLC's I wouldn't personally care the slightest.

Victoria III is clearly no in the book right now since they don't have a champion for this games. There was a small open window for Rome II but no real advancement on this part.

They should better start at 431, with the Peloponnesian War. Or it could be a DLC for Rome 2, allowing earlier starting dates, just like they did with CK2.

If they add the era of Greek City States they should call the game something else than Rome, since large portions of the game will cover eras when Rome was only a small player in central Italy.
